Hey guys.
i'm having some issues with the nu soundcard. with the mic picking up what i hear, even when the mic at 100% with no boost. for some odd reason somtimes people can hear my ingame sound. and when i check the mic it seems like its picking up audio* main audio* not sure if that makes sense but the headphone amp only at 7% due to im using steelseries Arctis Pro headset. **
the headset is also closed design so there no sound leaking, i've also tried two different cables to see if that was a issue but still same issue on both
also i've seen even if i mute my mic i can see the mic slider moving if im playing music. like the mic port is also acting as *what i hear*

Thanks in advance.

Only thing I can recommend is using a bind for push to talk or turn the mic input down. Also make sure listen to device is unchecked.

Yeah indeed, but i never had any issues, as i used to use the dac from steelseries. it seems like the mic port on this evgu nu is echo noise from the main audio for some odd reason. i can use different headset but just using the mic , and the mic bar don't move, but if i fully put the headset in via headset / mic issue will also be on that headset , seems like when i connect either of the headsets both with mic in and audio this issue comes.

    *Edit*
Just seen another post with same issue I have out here

After switching to the Line-In, did you switch the default over to the Line-In via the NU Audio SW or Windows?

If you tap the mic, do you see any activity?  If not, I'd suggest doing a restart and checking again.

Yeah no activity on the mic at all from the line in port, but whats the difference between the mic port and line in port?

Different audio paths, different ADC's, and different specs.  By and large, both should give you excellent quality for what you're trying to do.  The Line-In provides better support for very high frequencies (not necessary for voice chats).

    Hey again,
just tried it after restart and still no audio from the mic using that port.

youtube.com/watch?v=_oYxnjeN_ZU if you listen to this recording, you can see mic feed back from main audio. don't get why its doing that, its like the audio is looping the feed.
