Would be super epic if by the time the 7800x3d v-cache part launches, EVGA will have an X670E DARK motherboard to buy.... that would be a killer combo.... I actually don't like ANY of the newer motherboards for AM5.... they all look like **** to me. Not to mention the very vast difference in power on each board tier and price. TO ME, it seems like the boards are lackluster for the price. SADLY, if EVGA doesn't have an AM5 board by the time the 7800x3d comes out, I might just end up buying a cheap B650E board.... Because lets be honest, the higher tier boards aren't worth the price and even then, the designs aren't tickling my fancy. The DARK series from EVGA always looks sexy.... EVGA made the x570 boards, and I would totally buy one, if the platform wasn't dead and if I didn't already own an x570 meg ace from msi.... they were just too late for me to buy EVGA. But now, with AM5, I am on the wait train for the most part.
And the sad kick in the pants, EVGA announced their Z series board for the new intel 13th gen.... but no AMD part. like bro, don't you realize AMD is KILLING IT and they can't ignore them anymore? I understand Nvidia being anti-AMD back when, because AMD was NOT competing in the cpu space and NOT competing in the gpu space so maing said products would be "a waste of money" but AMD isn't being run by that CEO anymore, every since Lisa Su took over their growth has been non stop.... and now they compete very well in both segments. From what it looks like, the 5800x3d was smashing 12th gen and 13th gen barely edges back on top.... meanwhile we have 7000 series and we haven't even seen the 7000 v-cache parts yet.... which will probably edge back out on top over intel's 13th gen.... Intel was so scared of AMD they had to basically hide the 5800x3d gaming performance on their chart as a basic little bar/blob instead of being a full size bar graph wise.... because they couldn't lie, but also still wanted to include it. insane.
