I normally buy Thermaltake but couldn't find the stock from our suppliers. Yesterday, I had ordered four for in shop builds and am giving them a try. The reviews seem to like them as a budget PSU.

Intel i9-12900K
ASUS Prime Z690-A
Corsair 850W RM850x
Windows 11 Professional
Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 A-RGB
Corsair Dominator 32GB DDR5 5200MHz
EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 ULTRA GAMING
4x Samsung 2TB 980 Pro SSD + 1x ADATA 512GB SU800
Corsair iCUE 5000X RGB SIGNATURE SERIES Mid-Tower - Neon Night

Since the subject is EVGA PSUs I think this should be moved to the EVGA PSU forums

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

EVGA makes good PSUs and the 500 watt should be very good especially in small form factor cases.

Long as you go with Gold or higher 80 Plus rated PSU's. The Bronze and White EVGA 80 Plus are junk.

Doing a budget build or not, why go with bad power supplies. Sure you could save $10-30 in up front costs, but in the long run, the 80+ white or bronze units will cost you more money. Power supply mfg have cut just about ever corner they can on 80+ white/bronze units. Some vendors have been caught sending golden samples to reviewers while retail chains are carrying ones made by a sub contractor.

I see 550-650w gold rated power supplies on sale for $40-50 all the time.

Canadian pricing is significantly higher than USD. All it's powering are the necessities. Unless you tell me they have a high failure rate, I'm not concerned. I've been using 80 Plus PSUs for a while without issues.

The only issue I've had with the white/bronze power supplies is bad fans making noise, other than that nothing else.
