Hello Since this morning, I have problems with the graphics card EVGA 2080ti XC Ultra (2383), with each reboot, it does not seem recognized ("Load VGA Bios" indicated on the OLED motherboard, sometimes) Or sometimes it boots normally, but the white led (VGA) remains lit on R6E and no display. Now I no longer see the "Load VGA BIOS" error but I have "A2 Post error" a few times I reflashed the motherboard bios and I got this message after setting up all the bios
The VGA card is not supported by UEFI driver.....
A problem with the bios of the graphics card ? If someone has an idea
Thanks
PS: when it starts well, no problem afterwards (under Windows, games, benchmark, etc...)
Sorry for my english

Sajin Motherboard bios problem.
Correct. Only way is to RMA motherboard for different model/return motherboard or ask for BIOS update (but asus dont give a single damn about that so this option is out). Best part was when support agent said return EVGA cards and take ASUS so it wont have compatibility problems. Funny company

Thanks for your reply I have had the card for 18 months on my Asus Rampage VI Extreme and the same bios since February 2020 I can try with another bios, but I'm not sure it changes anything Couldn't the CPU be involved ? I tested a new one for 2 days, but the problem would have appeared immediately I think

1) Confirm power to GPU .. have spare PCIe cables - that came with your PSU - & use different PSU outputs - 1 cable per socket on card 2) pull the power to all devices & hold start button to discharge all capacitors ... then plug it in & restart ... enter BIOS & confirm setting 3) try a different slot on MB

I had one doing that a while back as well on an asus board if i set the bclk to high, or had an oc just not quite right. Lowering the bclk cured the problem for me. Just to make sure that was it every time i raised the bclk back up to over 103.000 errors occured with the vga boot anything under the 103.000 would boot fine.

What's cool is that a Rampage VI Extreme has USB BIOS Flashback and Dual BIOS. Using USB BIOS Flashback is the best, safest method for updating, or downdating (is that a word? ) the BIOS..See your mobo manual for detailed instructions. BIOS 3006 is the latest and you should flash to that if needed anyway..I would flash both BIOS 1 and BIOS 2..The BIOSRenamer tool you'll need is included in the BIOS package.

+1 Always set PC to stock settings - when you have an issue ... load default BIOS ... then edit Asus is always special = "BIOS dance" [my term for jumping through all the steps] Copy your settings first - I use my cell phone camera - Shut down & reboot - Load default BIOS settings ... then reboot - Open BIOS & edit .... & Reboot yet again

Hello I tested with a "load default bios", without any OC, and the same thing
Strangely, it does it to me 1 in 2 times and sometimes I can boot 3, 4 times in a row without problem Could it be the graphics card that has a problem ? To change the CPU, I "drained" the watercooling circuit (the GPU has an EVGA Hydro waterblock) I'm still very careful when draining and removing the tubing, I checked, and saw no trace of liquid (just in case) Thanks

I have the same issue on the ASUS Maximus XI Formula & a single 2080Ti FTW3 Ultra, but only maybe 1 out of 5 cold boots. The only OC I'm using is XMP. It's not too big of an annoyance, especially now that I know I'm not the only one experiencing it and it seems to be on ASUS.

The problem returned after 24 hours ... I noticed that the problem only appears if I reboot, if I turn off the PC, wait a few minutes and restart the PC, it's good Monday I test with another graphics card (the same model), I would already be fixed on the card

Hello I tried with another EVGA (exactly the same model), and no worries, so the problem came from the graphics card
I do not know if it goes into "RMA" kind of problem Especially since I can't stay several days without a PC

Talk with EVGA Customer Service about the issue & RMA If you Ask for & Pay for cross shipping or even Overnight shipping .... the "normal EVGA internal time" still applies --> time sensitive: Cross shipping is best -Or- use an older spare GPU to keep running Did you try what JME321 posted ? HI Thanks, i will see with support Can I send my card and at the same time EVGA send me a replacement card ? But "Pay for cross shipping", I have to pay the card (as if I bought it) and EVGA reimburses me when they receive the card that I sent them? I see that on the EVGA shop, the card is not available Thanks ;) PS: yes I tested, without success

RMA stock is different, than Retail stock Only EVGA knows what they have in inventory Contact Customer Service https://eu.evga.com/warranty/rmaprocess/ https://eu.evga.com/warranty/graphics-cards/

If we install an EVGA Hydro Copper, we must "break" the small sticker to remove the backplate
Does it void the warranty or not ? At one point, EVGA support had said that this was not a problem (otherwise it would not sell Hydro Copper) but is it still the case now ?

Not an issue ... it indicates that RMA cards deserve a "deeper dive" into their condition - if returned The "Serial number sticker" --> that is the Key to identifying your GPU ... needs to be intact
