There are a few threads about updating the video card bios. I have 90.02.0B.00.E4 bios on 11G-P4-2383-KR
Part Desc: EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti XC ULTRA GAMING, 11G-P4-2. Is it worth updating to another newer bios for this particular product? I'm updating this card with an EK water block for a family member. Thanks.

I'll look at my pictures & check what the rev # was before & after on my card ............. if I can locate them

    Q. How can I tell if I have this update already?
    A. You can check with EVGA Precision X1, if your maximum Power Target setting is 130%, you already have the update applied.

Updating to the 130% vbios is worth it.

Higher BIOS revision numbers do not mean it is a newer BIOS.

Your card should already be on the "new" BIOS that fixed the low power limit set for the card.

You can verify by looking in GPU-Z on the Advanced tab under Nvidia BIOS, if you see the power limit is +130%, you are on the newest BIOS already.

Thanks guys!! Appreciate the help! I remember updating it but thought a newer bios may be more beneficial. I put an EK water block on the card yesterday. Hope to test it out in the next few days.

Yes, that's the plan. That EK block looks great on that card. Installation is a bit tedious but worth it I hope....

Working quite well here. I opted for a EK flat pump/res combo for the video card loop. Idles 22-23C, load is about 37-38C. Only issue is the bubbles in the flat pump/res. I have it oriented horizontally. Suggestions to fix that?

Well, if that's where the res is and they're in there than there's nothing to worry about.  Odd setup but it should suffice.  You will have that bubble effect look having the reservoir positioned like that.

I mean I'm guessing you're doing two loops for the best deltas possible but than again when the CPU isn't being used much during gaming and benchmark, you have the CPU's rad(s) sit idling by.  I personally would have gone one full loop but that's just me.

Create a modsrigs profile and add the case to your sig since I'm not sure what to recommend if there's another placement for it but hey, if it works for you it works but if you can't stand seeing those bubbles like that you'll need to change that reservoirs orientation to vertical so the air stays at the top.

Is that a distro plate made for your PC case or just bought to fit the bottom of the case?

I just bought it as it seemed to be the best solution to have 2 separate loops, one for CPU and GPU. I usually game with IL2 Great Battles which does use the CPU somewhat especially in the past, not so much now. Perhaps this is a better picture? Trying to maximize air flow. The case is a Phanteks Enthoo Elite.

Nice looking rig.  I mean it looks good and the bubbles you're seeing is where they should be in that position.  The only way to remove those visible bubbles is to somehow mount that somewhere vertically.

That’s a challenge. Bubbles don’t bother me that much. Thought there might be something to connect to the fill port to eliminate them. ??

Only way to try and get rid of the bubbles is if you connect it all as one big loop and hope the air pockets make their way to your cylinder res.

You can try tipping you case on the various axis to get rid of the bubbles. They should disappear over time too.

Back on the issue of an updated bios, I found this at techpowerup. It’s from October 2019. Looks like the power range is increased. Suggestions based on this?

You can try tipping you case on the various axis to get rid of the bubbles. They should disappear over time too.

    I think there's a misunderstanding.

He's running two loops separately with two reservoirs.  One for the CPU and one for the GPU.  The reservoir at the bottom has air bubbles which is where they should be catched and wants to get rid of them which he can't unless he figures out a way to get rid of them by either, connecting it all as one loop and letting them be catched in the cylinder reservoir, remount that bottom reservoir vertically or figure out a way to maybe adding a pressure valve to the reservoir but if that liquid rises (say it's turned off), it will spill out unless it's stable and won't, idk.

I think I have a pair from different mfgers laying around but decided not to use them since I worried about it backing up and spilling out.

Jack was right about that flat res. Didn't look right to me either after looking at it a couple of days. Made some changes. What do you think?
