Nereus Did you try updating Adobe Flash player?
Yup all up to date it isn't a legit popup it is a warning that wants you to download a file can't get rid of it or stop it.

Norton isn't as good as it used to be. I prefer either Kaspersky or just Microsoft Defender.

Norton for me, used to have avg on my old laptop, Norton seems to be a better (lighter) performer.

Gotta disagree here. Its a solid offering now a days. I have been using it for the 2+ years now. But I use the Norton Security Deluxe on my machines.

Norton has been improved a lot over the years. Many negatives were addressed, and fixed.

Agreed. Years ago Norton was a bloated pig relative to other offerings on the market, but they completely revamped their product and it has been a very competent low-profile low-maintenance software package for quite a few years now. I also have MalwareBytes.

Bitdefender user here too...paid also. But after having trojans on my system twice with Norton and Kaspersky locking down functions I wanted and blocking games even though I changed setting to not do that... Anyway, I've had zero problems with Bitdefender. It's small in resource usage, does it's job and doesn't bother me with popups or being overly aggressive....unless I tell it to do so.

bill1024 I have been using Kaspersky Internet security with Malwarebytes on several computers for several years and have had zero problems. There is always a rebate sale on Kaspersky, many times it was free with the rebate.
Kaspersky is very good, but digs too deep for me. I like to game sometimes and it kept blocking my multiplayer game from launching...repeatedly even after I made exceptions for it within Kaspersky. I think after a while it got paranoid and didn't want to let anything through ;) These days I use Bitdefender. It has a small footprint, very good antivirus, phishing, and malware package and it's got a "gaming' feature that stops it from updating while you're gaming and allows the games to run without interference.
