So every year or so I host a lan for 8-16 people and possibly more in the future. I own a majority of the game copies how ever the biggest issue every LAN is just getting all the games installed and updated. Especially with newer OS's missing vital bits of former .Net framwork and C++ distros from the past and trouble shooting those issues for what are now pretty old games. In the end it turns into a couple hours of working to get games installed and bugs troubleshooted before we sit down and frag out. Looking to put together a solution that uses a series of network bootable Win7 OSs with the proper games installed and set up so no messing with installing and configuring things to work on other people's Windows OS of choice. I'm now working with PCs ranging from Win 7 Home to Win 10 Pro and it seems microsoft keeps cutting out more of the original stuff making compatibility for older games a nightmare.
I have seen some great looking solutions like CCBoot but they are subscription only which is a real pain at $6/PC/Month. Looking for a good solid program or tutorial to configure a server machine for hosting a network bootable OS's.
