Just wanted to give a quick update, after about a week now I'm running an average of 318K PPD, appreciate the recommendation everyone!

Is that folding only, or are you using computer for other things as well???  I was under the impression that even a vanilla 1060 3GB should get slightly better (or at least equal) folding performance vs a GTX 970.

That's my 970FTW with regular daily use including about 20 - 24 hours across those 5 days of streaming a mix of 480p, 720p, & 1080p movies & video content.

This is dedicated, no monitor plugged in - using the 750Ti for my display.  I expect the poor results are some kind of conflict with the 750.

Does anybody know how the 10xx cards coexist with other cards?
I have a pair of 970's folding in a X58 SLI Classified. Was thinking about adding a third card

Thank's

Since I moved my 1070 in with a single 970 it's been good. 1mil ppd on the few I did yesterday. 1070 was showing about 90-100k ppd increase since removal from Win10.

Monitor takes virtually nothing away from folding on a card.  I've run mine without monitor attached for up to 7 days - using my laptop for everything even gaming (which kinda sucks on a 750m as I have to drop to 720p to keep somewhat decent playability...), & on same work units I got less than 1000 ppd variance as compared to having the monitor attached, & that's @ 2560x1600 resolution.

I didn't expect it would... static images for the most part.  Even though my numbers aren't great, they are plenty good for me.  At this point I'm setting my CPU's to some other lowly teams to give them a little love since I'm going to kill the 4M EVGA threshold pretty easily with GPU.

My system had no problems with 1080 and 970.
