Figured since I posted in general chat for the first time in a long time, I'd also post and share some pics of my current rig.

Specs in my signature

EDIT:
OK so I've been tinkering around with some RGB themes instead of just blasting rainbow RGB nonsense into the room I've narrowed it down to 2 themes, a blue theme or a red theme for my case.

What do you guys think?
Fire theme (RED) with youtube video to see it in motion

Blue theme (Ice) with youtube video to see it in motion

Lots of colored RGB lighting but looks nice. Also like seeing the Deadpool, Mario and other toys on the desk.  I have a few around my desk as well.

Pictures don't do the RGB justice. I have it all synced and it chases colors from one side of the components and then all the way down through my keyboard and mouse. The only thing that isn't synced is the video card since it doesn't play nice with Aura Sync.

Good eye on the toys, the only one you didn't mention by name was the bobble head Crota next to the PC. It's a figure from a game series I play way too much (Destiny series) he's a raid boss from the first game.

Just got my 1080 TI FTW3 Hybrid in.

Not sure about the case anymore though. It's starting to get a bit cramped as this build is now way beyond what I was originally intended to house.

Is that a Corsair K95 RGB keyboard i see. If it is, what custom profiles do you like. I use Naxxramas and Blackrock Mountain from this video below.

I actually haven't set up any custom profiles to be honest. The only thing I did to it was put a blackout key set on it because I didn't like the gray keys it came setup with default over the WSAD and G1-6 macro hot keys. Short of that all I've done is set a few macros that I use for the games I play and have just been gaming on it.

If you do start looking at custom RGB profiles, don't be surprised if all of them don't work for latest version of Corsair CUE software. Some custom RGB profiles require you turn on/off advanced mode for them to work.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I just did install a few custom RGB profiles and it's pretty cool. Right now I'm using the block breaker profile here:

I ran into similar issues with it getting real cramped in one of my mid atx builds. Why not go full size? You can add more of those cool fans.

Got a used >=8gb GPU that you'd like to sell? PM me

It's performing great actually. Keeps my 8700K at around 65C at 5Ghz in stress testing and at about 50-55C while gaming.

I'm considering going back to a full tower but also don't want to put the PC back on the floor. I'm looking at getting either a Corsair Crystal 570X or maybe wait till the Coolermaster  H500 with the mesh front hits the retail market.

Coolermasters have always tempted me in the past but you can always just buy (from bed bath beyond, etc.) or make a cheap rack from home Depot. I just made one recent for one of my rigs at the price of $50 (including power tools rental). You can also buy a bunch of plexi, and make your own version of a cooler master case. It's not as difficult as people make it out to be. I'm working on a new cases for an lcd screen panel and my Dell Inspiron laptop (because it's fun) now.

That headset in the pic is my Playstation VR and it is surprisingly good for console VR. I've been playing Skyrim in VR almost nonstop since it came out. I also have a Oculus Rift that I use on my PC that I enjoy a lot as well.

Having a bit of a struggle deciding on which theme to use for my build, what do you guys think?

Red (Fire) with youtube video to show it in motion

Hard decision as I like both but I'm probably leaning more towards the blue than red.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

For my next build, I will be going with the blue theme this time around. So I would stick with blue on yours as well :P.

    Case: Asus Z370-G Box / MB: Asus Z370-G / CPU: Intel I7 8700K / Mem.: 16GB (2x8) 3000Mhz Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 / GPU: GTX 1080TI FTW3 / A.I.O. W.C: EVGA CLC280 / PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G3 750W

I like that one too but wish I could change the LED in the upper right to blue to match it. I know electrical tape is my friend in that situation but I don’t want to cover up my status/temp readout LED for the sake of uniformity.

Great job that looks clean. Did you vertically mount your hard drive? If so how do you do that. Drill holes and bolt in or velcro or some sort of adhesive?
