https://www.overclock3d.net/news/software/basemark_confirms_plans_to_create_gpuscore_graphics_benchmark/1 Earlier today,
Videocardz posted am image on Twitter which revealed Basemark's plans to replace Basemark GPU with a new graphics testing tool called GPUScore, a new product which will be "built from the ground up". To confirm this news, we contacted Basemark, who confirmed that they have "just started" their work on GPUScore, confirming the company's plans to replace their Basemark GPU 1.2 utility, which is currently in beta.
Like Basemark GPU, GPUScore will scale from mobile devices to gaming PCs, with Basemark GPU's 1.2 beta offering support for Windows (7 64-bit or newer), Linux, Android (7+), macOS and iOS. Similar OS support for GPUScore is expected. Basemark has confirmed that they will discuss GPUScore at a later date, stating that their company's newsletter is the best way to stay up to date on the application's development.
With GPUScore being early in its development, now is the best time to voice your thoughts on what features GPUScore should offer. This can be done through Basemark's social media accounts on
Twitter,
Facebook and
Instagram.
