Apparently the BIOS of my EVGA 3080 Ti is out of date, how do I confirm this and, if necessary, update the BIOS?
I've already run the EVGA Precision utility, but it didn't do anything.
Thanks!

Precision X1 can only upgrade the "Firmware" & only if it is needed --- this is Not the BIOS

Why do you think the GPU BIOS needs to be flashed?

Curious.  Will Precision notify you that there's a firmware update when you open the software?

Yes it can, usually happen on new GPUs, once the firmware has been updated, it never needs to be "redone"

The other way is to check with Nvidia if your having issues especially with DP not having a picture before Windows loads & a few other things.

Thanks.  I never knew EVGA's software did that.

I’m having random BSODs after PX1 did a firmware update, on a new system (Win11). Not sure if it is the cause or not, but I want to rule it out. I’ve just got a new GPU, and can’t sell the 3090 with good conscience if there’s a chance that it is the thing that’s causing the windows crashes.

So reinstall the 3090 and if the crashing returns you have your answer as to what's causing it.

That is definitely one way to test. Crashes are totally random. s twice in half an hour, and sometimes it is once every two weeks+.
I think I’ll do that if it comes to it.

    According to who/what?
I've already run the EVGA Precision utility, but it didn't do anything.

Then, it is not out of date.
