Also, for those of you with the newly released Z490 DARK KPE, I will have the drivers up early next week. Fortunately for you, they use the same drivers as the Z490 FTW, which are available on our driver download page.

Hi, When trying to update the bios of the Z490 dark kingpin edition via the bios itself using the aboe provided .bin file, I get an error message saying "incorrect bios image". Also, ELEET X1 is NOT working at all with this board. The app opens, but the app just contains a black screen/purple evga border with the load, default, apply, and save buttons all greyed out at the bottom. There's no options or anything to select/change. Is this a known issue with the Z490 dark series of boards? EDIT: Submitted a support ticket and please see attached image EDIT: Got the bios updated! (Found the bios .zip file from the EVGA website instead of using the above link) ELEET X1 still broken though

Seems I ran out of coffee on Friday afternoon and forgot to put in the correct download links. Sorry about that. That is why you weren't able to install the BIOS, since it was for the wrong board. Regarding ELEET X1, it's listed as a known issue above that it may not work currently with the board. I'm waiting for a new version from our software team.

I bought my new PC build 1 month ago, the first bios that I put on my motherboard was the 1.05 (It came with 1.04) and everything was working really smoothly. After I updated to this BIOS my games started to crash randomly (Warzone most of all), I thought it was related to the game but I noticed that it started to fail since I update the Bios to the 1.06, last week. One week later my Graphics Card crashed when I was playing and it is not working anymore. Is this bios update related to the issue? I saw the Eleet X1 doesn't work with this Bios version as well. Is there a probability that this is not a stable version of the BIOS? I just opened a support ticket for my Graphics card because seem that is broken, even, the card is not working on my previous PC. Right now I'm working with the Integrated Video of the CPU (i9-10900k) but I cannot play anymore because of this and I don't feel confident now with this bios. I bought my GPU on 2018 and it was working well until last night. I don't really feel that there was something wrong with the Card because it was working really well on my previous PC. BTW, my Graphics card is (or was) a 1080ti FTW 3 Elite Black EVGA

Have you tried clearing the CMOS? Not just loading defaults, but also pushing the red button on the board? Also, are you using a profile that you were using from before the BIOS flash? If so, write down your changed settings, clear the BIOS, then manually put your settings back in. Sometimes this could just be an issue with a corrupted profile. This BIOS has been tested for some time, so I would expect that it's going to be one of the more stable BIOS updates you'll see for this board. The ELEET X1 issue will be resolved on the ELEET X1 side. If it's still not working, please put in all your specs, including memory brand and model, and PSU.

Hi. Yes, I did that. Actually that is the way that I found to boot the PC but from the Integrated GPU. I didn't apply the settings of my profile because I thought the same. With default settings I put my gpu on the First PCIe port, then in the second one and the Card was not recognized. Inside the Bios, there is a section to handle the Pci Express settings, when everything was working fine, the Port number one was indicating a device on it and the Gen 3 setting. After the failure, the port says "not detected" or something like that. I tried to connect the Graphics card again on my previous PC and the issue persists. I think my Card is broken now :( Right now My new pc is working with the Integrated GPU and seems that everything is ok, but I cannot play my games. :'( These are the components of my PC MotherBoard: EVGA Z490 FTW CPU: i9-10900K CPU Cooler: EVGA CLC 280mm All-In-One RGB Ram: Trident Z RGB DDR4-4266MHz CL17-18-18-38 1.45V 32GB (4x8GB) PSU: EVGA 1000 GQ, 80+ GOLD 1000W, Semi Modular, EVGA SSD: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2GB GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 ELITE GAMING BLACK (now it is broken) Please let me know if you need something else. Regards!!!!

Ah. Well, based on your troubleshooting, if the card fails on both systems, then it's time to setup an RMA. Please let me know if you have any trouble setting up an RMA.

I've created a support ticket last night with this same info to ask about the warranty. This is the first time for me, I guess that I should setup the RMA there, right?

Are you one of the people that works on the bioses? If so, I have a couple of questions about available settings in the next bios.

I am trying to update the BIOS on my Z 490 Dark Kingpin to 106. It currently has BIOS 104. I have downloaded it from above and also from EVGA website. Every time that I try and flash it from windows I get he message at the top of the flash: " Incorrect BIOS Image Pleas download correct BIOS." Under that it says : "Press any key to continue" If I press a key the window shuts and doesn't flash. If this is the wrong BIOS, how do I get the correct BIOS. I called tech support and they said that they would open a ticket. I also tried Clearing CMOS button but it still said the same thing. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks
