Audio issue across all gaming consoles

i have been using the XR1 Lite for a few months and have encountered an audio issue across all my consoles when playing games. between my Xbox, Ps5 and switch i encounter audio not coming through for all sounds in games played, for example: ps5, Ghost of Tsushima, running through a forest and hearing companions talk or respond but the main characters voice is not coming through and the sound of running through grass is also not audible or in Spiderman Miles Morales, swinging through the streets of NYC hearing the music play but not the main character responding to incoming calls or chatter from npcs  as well as playing games on the nintendo switch and Xbox we have similar issues. any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. ty

    It sounds like you are not hearing center channel audio, which indicates that you might be trying to run surround sound through the XR1 device.  It does not support surround sound.  Ensure that all your gaming devices are set up to output plain normal stereo and any intermediary devices the signal may go through are also set up to use only plain normal stereo.  Don't use surround or any licensed audio codecs to enhance the sound.
     
    For further assistance, it would be helpful to know what is connected to what, and using what kind of connection.  A chain of custody, if you will, for the sound from the console to the capture device.
