Yeah but it's still much more costly than air coolers that will perform at least as good. Then again, those air coolers can get in the way for SLI setups, and make Tri-SLI and above impossible.

Very Nice, I think I am ordering one for my 470, thanks to seeing yours. Its a nice stop gap til i get my full on x58 setup later this year and water cool the whole shebang. I use the H50 on my cpu currently and I must admit I like the whole one step setup of it. Thats why this is a good fit. Plus it will virtually silence my rig. that means folding while sleeping ;)

There are different interposer plates for the 470 and the 480. When you purchase it, you just make sure to get the right plate. The rest of the unit is universal. Future interposer plates are expected to be about $50. I don't actually think it is available yet. I received mine directly from Coolit for the purpose of review, just like my Vantage.

Looks like you got the plain black GPU plate as well. Hehehe i decided to dress mine up just like the pictures seen around the web. LOL! I also decided to add a CoolIT badge on my case....yea the badges look a little tacky but i had to Also moved my second card up to the 2nd PCI-E spot. Now my cards are at 16x/16x (Can't get over the slim profile) Any considerations for a case yet Tweaked?

Hey thanks guys. My dad has a machine that cuts and designs on vinyl stickers. Me and my pops make the design, cut it, and then apply them to my case. If your serious Tweaked i guess i can mail you an OMNI badge. Free of charge of course....wouldn't want CoolIT to come and break my legs. Hehehe hope i'm not breaking any forum rules or anything. Hmm ... I see some mod possibilities in the future here. Stuff like using omni plate with a custom water cool system. Another idea is a corsair & omni joint venture - the H70s rad pump fan (pump doesnt block airflow) combined with the omni GPU block/interposing plate idea. Just some ideas and brainstorming here. It would be nice if omni sold just the blocks with different interposing plates separately.

Several manufacturers out there like EK, Danger Den, Koolance, AquaFX and Swiftech to name some of them. Configure them the way you want.

I know there are water blocks out there. I meant the universal block with cheaper interposing plates you could purchase when you upgraded rather than buying a custom block each time. They probably can't cool as well as a custom block but maybe give someone options (ie change out a card without breaking the loop). Maybe for someone who upgrades alot or tests cards for a living, etc. Just a thought.

Just wanted to give you guys an update. I have now OC'd my vanilla GTX470 to 800/1600/1800 with no voltage adjustment, and my idle temp is 27c, and max temp after 10 min of Kombuster was 61c, and it was stable folding all night. Very pleased so far.

use msi afterburner and bump the voltage as high as it goes. then put the core to 900 and mem to 2100 since your temps are so good. run furmark and check for artifacts.

Very pleased so far. Those are very nice clocks on a vanilla 470. The temps are doing very well indeed. I'm sure you may try to push some more, but that clock would be sufficient for me; especially, without any voltage adjustment. Looks like you not only got a good 470, but the Omni is doing very well. Good job Tweaked!

The only thing I would ask is for you to add the clock speeds (I'm assuming stock clocks). I always like that you add the ambient temps. This is important to what we are looking at here. Some may say that the stock cooler is doing okay and they would be correct, but 100% fan speed is the cost. I'll take 11c cooler with much less noise any day. Thanks.

Tweaked Overall, I am very impressed with the performance of this cooler. I say 8c drop in idle temps, but more than that I saw a minimum drop of 18c in F@H, and an amazing 22c drop in Unigen Heaven. I give this cooler a 9 out of 10 with the only point lost for mounting options. It is not necessarily universal. You need a case that will fit it. Jowata
WOW, look at that Heaven's temp with the Coolit........LOL

Not everyone is into high OC'ing results. They just might want something quiet along some OC.
