Just have a question....

Are all of the EVGA 2080 TI models going to have the same ASIC Code?

I preordered the 11G-P4-2382-KR and now i'm wondering if I should of went with the 11G-P4-2383-KR to get a higher binned chip.

I assumed they would be the same, but I'd like to make sure.

Thanks!

NVIDIA Segregates Turing GPUs; Factory Overclocking Forbidden on the Cheaper Variant

The Turing -300 variant is designated to be used on cards targeting the MSRP price point, while the 300-A variant is for use on custom-design, overclocked cards.

Most people (me included) have not received their card yet .... still too new the info is not out there, pictures of Chips after removing the cooler.

Giving us that kind of info will be great.

I'm really curious what AIB's really feel about the whole Nvidia taking control on binning and telling everyone what goes and what doesn't.  I remember the times when they went after EVGA because of the whole EVBot and I still got mine.  I hope they still implement EVBot ports on their custom PCBs just because. lol

I just bought the Evga 2080 XC Ultra model and here are a few things that can help to know which chip you have. I know it is not the 2080ti, sorry for that but trying to see if the two correlate or not. Grab MSI afterburner beta for 20 series cards. There is an i toward the top, click that. It told me I have 1E87 chip, it also said mine is 400A variant. I also used updated Gpu-Z and it confirmed the 1E87 id. Sorry not more help but atleast if I had to guess the XC Ultra models should be A variant chips.

Your memory bandwidth is too low for a 2080 card, it should be around 450-ish mark.

That's probably because there is no load on the GPU.

Yup. Look at the Bus Interface.
Its @16.2.0, which is power saving mode. If it had a load it would be @16.3.0

It seems to be not reading it correctly. Mine says with my 1080Ti it is at 484GB/s regardless if isn't no load on the GPU at all.

It's not a big deal then.  GPU-Z just needs an update if anything.
