Apple revoked the release of the Steam gaming Link app on their platform last week. Concerned customers have been sending emails to Apple to inquire about the reasons behind the decision. TheApple app store has a lot of very strong guidelines and Apple says they are working with Value to try and get this resolve so that iOS users can experience what Value has to offer.

If it had in-app purchases in which Apple got their cut they'd be all for it.

Seems likely Apple wants part of Steam purchases through the app though it could have other issues I guess.

Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.

Not at all, Apple and Google are very political with what they'll allow. It's pretty scum, but what are you going to do. These two own the cellphone operating system market. Should be legal for valve to release some SDK on their website to allow owners to install it themselves and bypass the anti competitive practices of these scumbags. Imagine for a minute if Microsoft operating system was built around ONLY being able to download and install software pre-approved by Microsoft and their store. It's completely bonkers, but these two companies get away with it. I remember all the nerd rage when Microsoft dare include a web browser in their operating system how it was deemed anti competitive criminal behavior, but now we have entire operating system which outright block software and it's totally ok because Apple and Google! *barf*
