Through GIGABYTE motherboards with exclusive built-in Intel Optane Memory, data transfer speeds for high-capacity HDDs is easily speed up. The Intel Optane Memory module comes pre-installed and when installing the software, the user just needs to select which SATA disk to accelerate. I have to say this is an interesting marketing move but I couldn't find pricing yet. Value for money in my opinion will depend upon price points of the motherboards.

Included and removable isn't the same as "built-in", which I see as soldered onto the PCB. But potayto potahto (deliberate misspell).

For Intel processors, 0.122 x TDP = Continuous Amps at 12v [source].

I wonder the price. I kind of have found it funny to see expensive motherboards use. My ASUS Apex IX has it but I don’t see a point since anyone buying that motherboard is going to have a SSD.

Off topic: Good to see Intel added the ability to accelerate secondary drives now. That was one of the drawbacks when it first came out.

Yes this is the exciting part of this otherwise I would see Aorus bundling this as useless. Funny how many people on the article's website did not read the article and assumed it was the same Optane as first released without the ability to optimize secondary drives.

As long as your popular enough, you can get away with anything.
