The dates keep slipping, but the rumors have lately sort of consolidated on ~ May 31st reveal and launch a week or two later in June. Or they could just can the whole thing again like they've seemingly done in the past...

End of April photo's of MSI 3080 Ti cards showed up of a shipment to the US. Other AIB's are certainly also stocking up. Nvidia cannot withhold the release too long anymore.

I'm thinking that they are making GPU vendors stockpile on as much graphics cards as they can. I mean the photo was leaked late April so it looks like vendors will have a total of one and a half months in order to gather 3080ti stock.

The site is gonna go down as it always does then they won't get their notification til later. Some will, but by that point the queue will have hundreds of cards per minute. The knowledge of the que has grown exponentially. You can see the hope in their eyes and confidence in their posts. A very harsh and demoralizing reality check is coming. Grab your popcorn it's gonna be a teary eyed rage fest in here. Zotacs queue went up last night and it had 24k in line in under two minutes. Freaking zotac... Charging strix money...

Zotac has a queue? To be honest I don't usually think of them. They seem like the D-listers of GPU's, just an afterthought to me. Now though with being able to snatch whatever card up at MSRP.

where are EVGA servers located at... Cali? If so, those in EU will have a delay of about 0.5 seconds which as you know translates to months of waiting...

EVGA website and auto notify system broke when they released the KingPin Hydrocopper, literally the most expensive card they sell. Just imagine how many more people are going to be trying to get a 3080 Ti. I'm guessing their will be 10's of thousands trying to sign for auto notify in the first min. Add in the scalpers and miners bots and I have no doubt whatsoever EVGA site will break again. If they couldn't handle the traffic for the "elite" only 24 hour early release of the KingPing HC no way they'll handle all the "people" trying to get a 3080 Ti. Even once you sign up they've only gotten what 4 or 5 days into the queue for the 3080 in 8 months so the 3080 Ti is going to be so much worse. Demand is much much higher now than it was in Sept. Shortages keep getting worse and crypto values are hitting record highs.
Strap yourselves in tight this the way it's going to be for the foreseeable future. It's truly a horrible situations when most gamers can't get a new card and even old cards are selling for more than people paid for them a year or two or three later.

I've been trying to tell people just that but it looks like people are out of touch with reality, especially with this whole elite membership bonanza. I'm expecting the website to crash and by the time I will be able to sign up it will probably be 10min after release... and that's an optimistic calculation :(

Yeah, the website crashing is definitely the wildcard. I'd like to hope that they have thought of a clever solution for reliable elite signups in the first 24 hours, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if the site is down for a good chunk of those first 24 hours.

They haven't even announced it yet. THOUGH it has been official acknowledged by Linus Sebastian in a Linus Tech Tips video, telling us to subscribe for an upcoming 3080 ti review.
