I will not run sidock at the moment their server is in Russia. I have nothing against the Russian scientist but their government is not acting in a neighborly manner at the moment and I do not want to be attached to a Russian server.
You guys can run it if you want to. I won’t be for a while

I am definitely out...
THANK YOU!

Try a little primegrid TRP.
I run it on one system most of the time in cooler weather. I like the MEGA ST5 sub projects. We’re in a TRP challenge right now

I think it’s pretty cool to get a prime into the book of the 5000 largest primes found.

Milky Way is another good project to run

There are so many to choose from.
Go to their website and read up on them and see what they do

I miss skynet pogs project it finished up a few years ago
Einstein is another good project.

It just takes me forever to do stuff
I noticed in my WCG account profile that I only have the one computer registered Hybrid ( It is running Rosetta lately, no Denis or WCG) When I try to add another it triggers a new download..
The install goes fine but I never see Folder (the second computer) added to my list of devices.
Going to have to reread EVGA Crunchers instructions and see what I am missing.
If you guys have the quick answer I am all ears.
(Going to be) Working on my GST quarterly filing and would like a short distraction to fix this

When you setup BOINC on a new computer you add projects by adding your email address and password. (Or Use BAM! as I do)
I have never done this from WCG or any other BOINC Project.
On WCG and all other BOINC Project Website I do setup "Preferences for this project" also called "Device profiles" on WCG.
That is if you are adding a new host to run BOINC and WCG.

You add WCG to another computer by using BOINC manager on the new computer under tools I believe it is. You do not do it from the WCG website
Install BOINC then go to tools and add project then choose WCG from the list
Also I wouldn’t worry about what the WCG website shows as far as anything at this point until they fix it all

After I posted "Please Explain"
I removed the WCG from Project.
Restarted Boinc after shutting it down.
Added WCG Project (the way you described..before you posted)
tried registering as a NEW user...email in use password wrong error response, twice.
Registered as an existing user with same password (like I have done dozens of times except when you download from WCG, it is already in the project manager)
Still no Device change in WCG contributions
I have noticed that the working Boinc running mostly Rosetta has a different looking label in the projects window.
New computer Folder

Are you are talking about WCG Projects like Help Stop TB and OpenPandemics - COVID-19, now I see.
See Device Profiles. to see what WCG projects have and by default all are selected.
This has nothing to do with BOINC and the BOINC Software installed on your Host Computers.
Use the Advance View in the BOINC Client Application.
(You use the Same email address and password on all your Host Computers, Do Not Create a New Account on WCG or any other BOINC Project.
See https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/viewBoincProfileConfiguration.do?name=Default
This will show you the projects that are on WGC like;
All | None
OpenPandemics - COVID-19
Africa Rainfall Project
Help Stop TB
Mapping Cancer Markers
Smash Childhood Cancer

Like the rest of us you will have to wait for tasks, we are all on HOLD.
You will not see your NEW HOST until you have completed at least one task.

Simple view when you install Boinc,  has the Boinc graphic beside whatever you have added.
When it connects, to the appropriate server's it might change..
The later Boinc software without Virtual box has a small swirl like in the pictures.
Later Boinc with VB has larger swirl.
Like the rest of us you will have to wait for tasks, we are all on HOLD.
WHAT?

Hey Joe give WCG another try now. Seems to be working well the last 12 hours at least.
Tasks are flowing and the downloads seem to be normal. Their site seems to be working as well.

I only have cpu work turned on (gpu's busy foldin) and after removing an Adding them to a computer that is dedicated to WCG...No work available to process.

I am seeing lots of Rosetta work on the other computer with Boinc installed

I'm getting pretty steady WCG. a few blips here and there with massive download server backoffs. But I've never run out that I know of. Just got an email for 1 yr Covid badge.

WCG moved to a different institution. They aren't fully back up yet. So don't exclusive them for now. They are having some pains in the networking department. Causing lots of stalled downloads and they are only issuing test units right now. At keystone that's my read on the situation. They have been putting up short posts about it and are grateful for us testers as they bring the project back to full.

Yeah, my poor Android phone had been waiting for months for something to do, but alas the servers were down. Now they are mostly back up and running. The transfers window on boinc manager were painful to look at for awhile.
All my old devices get the boinc client and space on a shelf to work on WCG. This is probably why I didn't get the "please come back" email.

Boinc/Projects tab says 6.66 on Hybrid
Boinc/Projects tab says 5.38 on Folder
In the Average work done columns.
So it has done something but the statistics on the website only lists the one Device...Hybrid
Rosetta is constantly running on Hybrid..

Which page is that? Are you looking at results CPU Time vs Elapsed Time?
Their stats page is kinda weird. It only shows 3 devices by default. 2 android and 1 windows. But 2 of my pcs are running nonstop with work units being properly credited.

Seriously?
Are you saying it will never show ME more than one Windows computer?

Why would it say 25 items per page with options for more or less?...

I don't know for sure. It's a weird page, I've got tons of devices due to various rebuilds of machines.
I see both PC names in the My Contribution Results page (876 since October 4th). I assume it's still glitches due to the infrastructure move and rebuild.

Joe when you are looking at your devices there is right above where it says device name, last result, runtime
results returned, right above that there is another header that has 2 spots for drop down menus.
The one on the right is for how long ago do you want to go back, 3 days, 7 days, 30days, all the time.
Click on that and go back as far as you want and it will show all your systems since you started.
Worked for me just now.

Technically, I have an all/all of 24 devices. My system Isns-Main-PC (newest build) isn't listed yet. It is submitting work in the Results tab, so it's obviously a stats mismatch/update issue.
I hope they figure out their backend soon. It must be very confusing for returning users (having gotten that email) to have so many issues still remaining.

Since my second Boinc computer wasn't getting any WCG work (as well as the first) I added Rosetta to it.
Both computers are steadily running Rosetta

When WCG failed to function anymore I researched the focus of the projects that could be added.
Rosetta seemed to have research I could support.
