I don't want this post to stand out in the forums, which is why I put it under Folding, rather than anywhere else.
I hope the moderators will allow me.
I recently bought a few graphics cards, and got a free game with it.
Since I don't really game, and especially not these type of games, I would like to bless someone else with a promotional game code (not associated with EVGA), that currently folds.
If you fold, and would like a free code for Battlefield V, Anthem, or Metro Exodus, reply a genuine answer below.
I only have 1 code to offer. The requirement from the website for the code, is to have a qualifying RTX graphics card.
No guarantee on lower end cards.
ATI or Intel cards won't work, as the redeeming process happens via GeForce Experience.

If you recently bought an RTX card, and missed out on the free game promotion, and fold Folding at home post here.

I'll PM one winner by the end of this week!

Good  luck!

Edit:
Seems like a qualifying card may be an RTX 2060 of a competing brand.
If anyone has an RTX 2060, please PM me.

Yes, I picked up my 2080ti back in december. I'm slightly interested in the new Metro game. Anthem isn't much of a game, I hated it when the demo came out. Already got Battlefield 5 from another Nvidia promotion.
    Thanks for the offer.

How about if you have two GPUs and dedicate some CPU cores to the gaming card 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Folding whatever I can :o)

I have never given it a try.
Sometime it can be hard tell an application to use one or the other GPU.
But also have more than 1 computer so it would make no since in the long run for me to really bother.
I do Fold on the GPU and Crunch on the CPU but never mix Folding and Crunching on the GPU.
It would make more since to just Fold overnight and while at Work and when you want to game just complete the current WU or Pause it and Exit The Client and then Game.
With Core 22 coming out I think Folding and Playing game can is going to be harder, unless maybe you set Folding to Low.

Seems like one needs an RTX 2060, possibly from a competing brand.
If this is the case, I can't post it.
Anyone owning an RTX 2060 please PM me, to claim (and hopefully it'll work).

I do this. I have Displayport out of one card (1070) and DVI out of a second card (660) going to a single monitor which is set to auto select input. In windows display settings I have Multiple Displays set to "Show only on 1" (1070) or "Show only on 2" (660). Changing that display setting lets me swap between the 2 cards and games will run on the displaying card only.

    Funky bits:
Early on when Pascal was new there was something in windows or the drivers that didn't seem to swap everything from one card to the other and so I would get utilization on both cards after swapping requiring either a restart or sign-out/sign-in of windows. This no longer seems to happen but geforce experience for game recording can still get confused sometimes and I'll have to restart to get Live Replay working again.

    Performance Considerations:
I used to have a crummy old 4 "core" FX-4100 and playing some games would negatively affect my folding as the CPU didn't have the overhead to run both. With a Ryzen 2600 there's more than enough threads to run my 1 GPU slot and play pretty much any modern game. I don't have a way to lock cores to programs so it just comes down to watching utilization when I start doing something new.

Unfortunately, I think this is a different discussion than the original purpose of the thread.
