Is that 70C temp will full fan?

I just ordered 3 off Amazon. I'm planning on using them until the 30 day return policy, paying the return shipping, and see what else is available. Or maybe go hybrid on them if nothing else better is out yet.

fan is at 80% now as 100% did get it just below 70C but temp difference between 80% and 100% isn't much, except for noise. having one GPU louder than my 8x 140mm Corsair fans @100% isn't acceptable to me.

No particular good driver yet for the 1080Ti. The old 373.06 driver doesn't support them. Is 1 million that for both or each. If for both, are yoy saving 2 cpu cores for them?

I'm folding on two 1080ti getting a total of 2m PPD est per the client software. I don't fold at all on CPU

I thought they were supposed to get 1.2m each

this is due to them not being under water, on air it seems ~1mill is normal. current air coolers are not sufficient enough to push the card to its full potential.

I heard that the 381.78 drivers lower temps a far bit compared to the 381.65 drivers, not sure how it compares temp wise to the 378 drivers though. I'll test it myself here in a few

edit: update, it seemed to help a little at least, but not enough for me to say for sure one way or the other (67c instead of 70c when I checked before but didn't check that often so there could be other factors like the load the WU put on it.)

First 24h with my 1080ti. It's a very hot day and I'm doing between 1.1 and 1.2M stuck at 76°C with air cooling

My case is too little for this GPU, EVGA please, I need this

Driver 382.33

Got my ftw3 cranking away with my 1080 ftw2. 1.3mil the first day and 1.7 mil yesterday. Just waiting on my 1080Ti SC step up to kick it up over 2 million per day.

Are you cooling with air or water ? My GPU this morning acts weird, temperature jumped over 90° and the fans were off, luckly I was there and stopped the client. Now I started folding again and everything seems to work as usual again but I'm not happy, I'm going to wait and monitor the PC until monday but maybe I'll send the GPU back to Amazon.

Air for both. I plan for hybrid kits eventually though. Not having any temp problems. Of course I haven't been watching it in detail either.
The FTW3 went to 1987Mhz right off the bat. Haven't has time to dial it in yet.
My next step is an X99 system with slightly faster processor clocks. I currently max my cores on some tasks.
