Any recommendations on software that makes a .PDF file fillable?

Are there any free, spyware free, (I can live with ads) programs that let you type into a .PDF file?
 
And I don't want to use the online ones as I feel it's stealing your info you are typing in.  Thanks.

    There are some in Linux which is also free
    Libreoffice I believe has a free download for windows as well. I have not used a windows version but I have in Linux and its,,, well, free. but it works. Interested in what others recommend as well.

    I gave Libreoffice a try but it turned all the dots into commas and spread them endlessly across the page lol.  Maybe I'll try OpenOffice

    Common things like adding text is entirely free with https://www.tracker-software.com/product/pdf-xchange-editor It's worked for what I've needed anyhow


    Have water, will cool.
