Hi,
I am fixing to RMA my GPU for the 2nd time in under 6 month. My first gpu died in just 4 month, the 3rd fan just quit and temps shot to 82c.
The RMA was given, and I was given a used gpu(there is signs of abuse on the cable and scratches to the back, but its only cosmetics, so I didnt mind much) Now this card also has 100% the exact same issue as the first one. Identical issue. And after some research I am seeing alot of people with the same issue. So I am thinking there is either a bad batch of cards or the entire series of that model is foobar.
EVGA RTX 3080 12GB XC3 Black LHR model. I am dropping the card off at UPS as soon as they open today. But I was wondering will EVGA maybe take pity on my bad luck and give me a different model? or will I get the exact same one and hope 3 times is a charm?
