    Building it together sounds like walking through a mine field. For my girlfriends build I took apart my system and then we each built our own system again next to each other. That way she could ask questions if needed and watch what I was doing without feeling I was telling her how to do things and that it wouldn't be the way she wanted it in the end. I think in the end she likes that every screw was put in by her and while I showed her the basics of cable management on mine I let her figure out how to do it on hers. It might not be the way I would have done it but she is happy which makes me happy.
