It's obvious that due to the server issues from the non-elite offering, that many elite members still didn't get their order in (myself included).
You should do another round of elite offerings and send an email beforehand letting people know when to check the site again. That, or now that this has been officially launched maybe put in a legitimate preorder for elite members only. Many EGA loyalists got the short end of the stick due to website issues.

I never saw it either, not that i need or want one. 3080 20gb will be my sweet spot even if i dont need the 20gb version. Best of luck to you all that want the 3090 card.

I'm glad some people got lucky. Others like me lost 2 hours trying to get through the various checkout pages even during the "Elite" time period. Another chance would be appreciated. I think they should do this for the 3080 as well, but perhaps on different days.

This is the same that happened to me. Ended up with "0" in cart eventually and not changeable.

It was e-mail. I don't recall Jacob stating anything about it until early this morning just before it became available. I think that's why it worked much better.

Seconding this. Even though it was frustrating getting to the "place order" screen and still striking out, it looks like lots of real people got orders in instead of just bots. Other than the awful server issues, EVGA came up with a great idea to thwart the bots this time. Grats to those who made it through the gauntlet earlier today to snag a card!
I also would like to a see an Elite Member 3080 ftw3 special order, especially after watching numerous review videos today remarking on the underwhelming value of the 3090. I actually think I dodged a $2000 bullet on that one by not getting to complete an order this morning.

Agreed. In fact they should have held some stock back when they saw the site was nearly nonfunctional to release at a later moment in time when the hype had died from the 6AM PST "release time" that would have been good to release to Elite customers later today...

I'm kind of bummed out that I missed it. I got the elite email last night for elite but didn't think much of it. Such a wasted opportunity lol.

I had an Ultra in my checkout for almost a full 2 hours I just couldn't get past the final Green Proceed Button. I'm not sure if I just need to level more or I hit some sort of enrage timer on the boss but every time that damn green button would not let me proceed.
Pre-approved my credit card though about 20 times...

I wholeheartedly agree. I've been an EVGA customer since running dual 980 Ti's and to spend 94 minutes clicking "Complete my order" just to lose out on the opportunity was incredibly frustrating.

Same exact thing happened to me. Started right when it went live and tried to checkout for 2 hours. I reloaded the pages too so I could check if it was out of stock but it still showed as add to cart for quite a while.

I'm an elite member and I never received notification for any preferential treatment to order cards. I've had a 3080 in my cart 4 different times all for the site to crash and the GPU removed from my cart. this is beyond science.

I’m in the same boat but am hopeful we’ll get them soon(ish). The FTW3 Ultra seemed to stay available to add to cart for at least a half hour. Maybe longer.
My cart apparently buggered early on when it tried to run the charge in checkout, and from then on I was likely doomed because of a zombie card sitting there. Had it not been for that I likely would have had a card since it tried to authorize the 1st charge at about :05.
We’ll get cards eventually. Will be watching and hoping. Maybe next week...

I noticed the add to cart button was there for closer to an hour, but unfortunately I was never personally successful in getting anything actually added to the cart. Let alone completing the full checkout process.

What do you mean? The 95 minutes I spent trying to checkout and finally having a card removed from my cart worked pretty nicely! Wait, yeah no, you're right. It was a bit nuts. They could have made an invite only site with a unique key that was sent out for elite members only. Then any codes used could be tracked back to a user and banned them for good. But this entire launch has been a series of ignoring good ideas.

lol, I could only occasionally get to the elite page, let alone any checkout page! The very few times I made it to the product page, when I clicked 'add to cart' I got an error - every time. That's as far as I ever got. After almost 2 hours I gave up, not that I'm all that surprised. It's going to be months before they have stock in hand, if ever, and by that time the 3080 Super/Ti will be close to release anyway, and then the exact same crap will happen with bots again. Just pisses me off that we get sucked into this circus every time, you'd think we'd learn, right? Better yet, you'd think NVidia would learn to make enough supply to meet even 10% of the demand - I doubt they covered even 2-3% of demand with this release. I'll just stick with my 2080Ti and forget about it for now, probably the wiser thing to do anyway.
