Just like many of you guys, I placed my order on Sept 17 for 809 Euros:

The above order still has no ETA. However, just an hour ago, Amazon had the audacity to start taking further pre-orders for the exact same card (and XC3). With a guaranteed delivery date of Nov 2. Check the price though:

So they're not fulling their initial pre-orders that were much cheaper.

UPDATE:
Amazon have changed the shipping ETA on my original Sept 17 order. It is now arriving on Monday! Check your Amazon order and see if it has also changed.

They actually changed the price on you after you paid? And they charged you more?

If so, go to the authorities where you live, not sure what eVGA can do about it.......

    That does suck tho.

it's possible that Amazon EU S.a.r.L. may be a third party seller, despite the name.

When looking at Amazon.co.uk, there are things listed as sold by just plain amazon, so it's possible that Amazon EU S.a.r.L. Looking up the company directly doesn't seem to show any real connection with Amazon.
that said, I'm not sure what the options are, if they are a third party seller, they might be able to just do whatever without any real cost for them.

Nope, cant see those either... although it might be my overly-restrictive web filter blocking the site that you uploaded them to.

Did they take your money, or was it a "We will charge you when it ships" thing?  Are you sure that it is the same seller?  Amazon will show any Tom, Dick, or Harry with a seller account, and if random botter X puts up a card it shows up in the same exact spot that actual amazon stock would.  I apologize if these questions are covered in your pics, but I cannot see them.

those with too few posts can't post links as an anti-spam filter, but you can break the link to show it to people (it's allowed as long as it's not for spamming a site advertisement, which is what the filter is there for)

Contact Amazon. They'll take care of it.

I doubt that you'll be able to get a GPU though without waiting longer.

Really scummy that some 3rd party marketplace seller is able to name themselves so similarly to Amazon

It is actually not a 3rd party seller, it is Amazon and it seems to be a real order. The 3rd party sellers are clearly marked differently in the UI.

How come it's Amazon EU but in Amazon.fr I've received no notifications ? Shouldn't Amazon EU listing product send notification and availability throughout all Amazon EU sites ? Also if it's really Amazon and they intend to be shafting their customers with inflated prices too, then I guess I won't be buying 3080 at all and will focus on AMD at launch hoping for prices not inflating too much.

what do third party sellers look like in on that site? the only difference in the US amazon site is the name.

I rechecked both my old and new orders and it is definitely Amazon. It is NOT a third party seller.

did some more digging and found that it does seem to be a first party seller, given the help article

Update: Amazon has finally updated the date on my original order! It is now arriving on Monday Nov 2nd!
Thread should be locked/deleted I think.

When written in uppercase I'd understand, but in lowercase, the a needs the ' because it's french for " Société à responsabilité limité ". Might be a copycat scalper or just Amazon who forgot to put the accent on the a and would be indeed first party seller.
Also could be a price mistake from someone trying to get more unless they decided to go full scalping capitalist by following other stores.

Most electronic hardware I have seen in Scandinavia countries is higher which I presume is due to higher import tariffs.

    Specs: AMD Ryzen 9 3950X,  M.2 2TB, 128GB DDR4  Crosshair VIII Hero, EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra,  Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF

I personally don't like long wait times for orders since credit card companies only have a limited window to report fraud. Glad that this card was released but had it not been I would be recommending contacting the credit card company and seeing how long you have from the original order date to file a claim and make sure you have the card in hand before that point or cancel the order.

Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.

    Not that much higer :)
We hav 25% VAT on products and services here in Sweden, normal price for RTX 3080 here is between € 770 and € 1.060 VAT included
€ 2.878,20 is even more expensive than a RTX 3090 wich cost around  ~ € 1.880 in local stores

If the price of Amazon is ridiculously over the price of MSRP then that is a Scalper, so don't buy it.
