Also got the delay notice from amazon for 2080Ti XC.
Waiting for water blocks anyway so not a big deal but somewhat annoying.

My only concern is Amazon will do what they have done in the past and cancel my order for being OOS too long.

I placed a preorder for my 11G-P4-2383-KB on Evga's site, but the bank kicked it back because Evga is a suspicious company apparently. Before I figured out what had happened, and to put the order through Paypal instead, Evga sold out. So boy did I consider myself lucky to get a preorder on Amazon right before it sold out. But, all things considered, I'm not lucky at all. Heck, I wouldn't even be buying this card if I didn't get a 4k last Black Friday. I thought I'd just ride out the low fps with my 980ti till Spring when the newer nvidia cards come out. Ha Ha Haa. Now it's been almost a year since then and I'm paying pretty much double what I thought I would. And now I get to wait a little longer and spend more time lamenting this situation I got myself into.

Well think of it this way: you’re in a position to afford a $1300 video card. Getting to that point is pretty lucky in of itself :)

I'm reading a lot of things on the internet about Amazon fulfillment of these orders.
One person on Reddit said they got confirmation that they had cards in their fulfillment center and were shipping today.
I contacted CS to see if I could get the same info and I got, "The item is back-ordered and we'll ship as soon as our fulfillment center receives more stock from the supplier."
They weren't able to provide anything beyond that, so I am guessing the Redditer was lying. The CS rep did assure me they would not cancel my order due to it being back-ordered and would ship within a few days. I hope they can keep that promise.
I also read a post from someone who said they ordered on Sept. 17 and already got their card from Amazon. I am hoping it's a troll, because that would be extra messed up to all the people who ordered day one.

There were no 2080Tis available on Amazon on sept 17th I’m pretty sure. Anyway thanks for the info.

I’m still waiting on a date for my non-Ti XC Ultra, so I’m glad you got a date.
They’re notorious for canceling orders and stupid me decided to pay in advance, for the preorder, so I wouldn’t be charged by surprise. And I’ll be stuck with an $850 gift card balance and no GPU if they cancel on me.

I wonder if the Typhoon season, which was very active in September delayed shipment ? Most Powerful Typhoon of 2018 Set to Cause Disruption in Asia Only Amazon can say what their internal distribution looks like. My card from Amazon is also Late, yet my Order History shows: ( I chatted with Amazon the other day - No Joy on any real delivery information) 1) by 8 PM tomorrow 2) It has Not shipped  I just wish Amazon would address their Order update system

Yeah, sites like Best Buy and B&H show many of the eVGA 2080 Ti models as "Coming Soon" instead of "Sold Out" like the other brands. Makes me think they haven't received the stock yet. Sure would be nice to get some definitive news.

If you pre-order, you feel to pay ahead of time, still wait, and pay full price.
If you wait, you can both find sales and stock and not have to deal with this drama.

I feel like the rumors that nvidia wants to unload their 10xx series stock may have some truth to it. After they start emptying the shelves of old stock I'd almost expect a new driver that gives the 2080 a large boost over the 1080Ti. Engineering breakthrough!
Still, even a "we don't know" would be nice at this point.

Nah, I know how it works and I typed that wrong. I paid $850 to reload my gift card balance on Amazon to pay in advance for this order. I’m outside the return window on the gift card.

Beginning to wonder if these cards actually exist, even my local small independant pc parts retailer has the msi 2080 cards in stock (ok he only has 3 but its better than 0!). No Ti's though. My 2080ti xc ultra still says shipping on the 27th, if it gets pushed back to October, I'll be cancelling the pre order, near enough £1300 to get the card AFTER other models are available in shops is utterly unacceptable .

RTX 2080 TI XC (not ultra). Amazon. Pre-ordered August 20th.
I spoke with customer service this morning and they said they need to obtain the item from a different supplier (that sounds inaccurate to me) and that it would take slightly longer than anticipated to ship. Hopefully they don't end up auto cancelling the order.
I've got auto notify setup just about everywhere in case something comes available before Amazon ships. Also, unrelated, I find it insane that ebay has these cards up for $1800-2200 based on a preorder slip (item not actually in hand).

When did you pre-order? My EK block just got delivered so I'm bummed. Technically I was going to wait until I get my Alphacool block (some time this week) to see which I preferred but if I had my card last Friday as originally planned I'd at least be able to start tearing it down and mock-installing the EK to make sure everything is straight. I'm not an impatient person but hate random, seemingly-unexplained delays.

What the hell EVGA. I ordered mine day 1 on Amazon and then Nvidia pushed the date out a week. Ok fine, that says the 27th. Why is my order now showing OCT 10? Why was it pushed out over two weeks with absolutely no notification. Someone get Jacob on the line to explain why paying customers aren't being kept in the loop?

I think they consider you knowing those dates to "be in the loop"

My Amazon order still shows not yet shipped with no other info. Funnily enough my FE is going to be ready to pick up Oct 8th from Best Buy but I'd rather keep the EVGA. If it's going to be anything longer than the 10th though I may just cancel and go for the FE. The card is going in a water-block anyway so I don't care about cooling or looks. Still, any info from EVGA would be nice...

Called Amazon trying to get an estimated delivery date and got nothing. Had to update the status of my order for approval that it would be delayed otherwise they'd cancel the order by October 24th. Still no ETA.

I got the Amazon email today - had to confirm that I still wanted the order  Amazon Order now shows: (before 5 PM it still said, by 8 PM today) Not yet shipped Delivery estimate: We need a little more time to provide you with a good estimate. We'll notify you via e-mail as soon as we have an estimated delivery date.

15 miles from me: "MY STATE/CITY" - Monday, September 24, 2018 10:27 AM (9 hours ago) - In transit Estimated delivery date: Friday, September 28, 2018 by End of Day (in 4 days) WTD?!?!?! I could drive there and pick it up!!! Its already at that location 15 miles from me, since Sunday! Fedex suxorz!!
