I ordered a waterblock for my 3080 FTW3 on 2020-12-25. Shipment was espected for 2021-1-8/9. And now in his forum I found this: Q: "I dont know why the strix is already in stock but ftw3 is not. When will it be available?" Alphacool A: Because EVGA was not able to sent a card or any datas of the PCB design. So.... ask EVGA why they was not able to sent us something. And i cant tell you when the cool er will be available because of the many preorders. They will get the block first.

Yikes, it's sounding like a cancelled product. If I have to cancel my Alphacool order I may just have to wait for a HydroCopper kit. At this rate we may see those before I could get something from EKWB or Optimus - I'm sure the preorders for those are already out until next Christmas.

I opened up a case with paypal. Its $205 that I can put towards another block. maybe Bykski or EK or Heatkiller.
Delays are okay. delays + no communication are not.

I understand, I'm a bit put off atm because my order isn't even showing on the orders page of my account.
It's quite unerving.
But seeing as the EVGA EU store has yet to send me a notify (I'm low on the queue because I was iffing and umming and removed my first notify from months back lol) I'm in no real rush, no point having a block if you don't have a GPU to put it on.
But I have looked over the paypal dispute and 180 days gives me plenty of time to both be worried and not be worried LOL

I accidentally didnt order the backplate with my EKWB (could have sworn I did ;\) and they said adding it will move it to the back of the line.. so I'm canceling that and going to give the performance-pc's a try. ;\ Getting a waterblock for the FTW3 is proving to be quite frustrating, I thought it would be much easier.
I understand to a degree why EVGA didn't make more hydro series given the nvidia shortages, but why not make more blocks? Surely EVGA could make a lot more hydro blocks and sell them?

I had ordered the block from Performance-pc's back when I ordered everything else to build my loop. It was listed as in stock. When they went to fill the order they told me it was out of stock and had been a mess up on their website as it should have been a pre-order. I asked them to please fill the rest of the order and backorder the block for me, which they did.
Today I emailed them asking if it was still going to make it as it shows 2nd week of January and their response was below:
We apologize, we are still waiting for them to arrive, seems there is an issue with the shipment and Customs. We are hoping they still arrive this week, if not, it may be next week.
We did not anticipate this. Again we apologize.
So I still have hope.

How would performance PCs have alphacool waterblocks before alphacools english website ?(aquatuning.us)
If alphacool would have told me “nickel plating issue, currently 30 days until we get your block in” i would have left my order alone.
I dont think there is any hope for you mikejefferson. Get your money back and buy first available block.

I did the same to get my mula back from Alphacool. Ordered a Barrow waterblock from FormulaMod, went with it instead of Bykski because the Barrow uses the stock backplate which I really like the style of. If anyone else had them in stock I would buy them first, EK, Heatkiller, Optimus, EVGA, but it appears they are all dragging their feet, not sure if its their fault or EVGA's because all other manufacturers have waterblocks in stock!

They just responded to let me know that while it is subject to change due to continued shipping delays, they expect the waterblocks to arrive tomorrow and are in fact already in transit to them. I will post again if I get a shipping confirmation tomorrow or next week.

I ordered a FTW3 block from Aquatuning.us on 12/15 , and after not hearing anything and seeing the date on their site go from 5-6 days to "60 -120 days" , I emailed with my order # asking questions about it, and got the EXACT SAME REPLY Razgriz2006 got- so I replied to that email , going to see what they say.
However, I've had 2 crashes while gaming (WOW, nothing major- not sure if it is my GPU or what, but never had issues using my old Vega64), and yesterday when I booted my PC, the screen has these faint grey horizontal lines across the entire monitor - very light, but noticeable. Not sure if its the GPU or monitor.
Ugh.

hi guys, I pre ordered the Alphacool block in December from Performance PC, was supposed to be delivered today but nothing yet, no shipping info or anything. I was lucky to get a BYSKI from Ebay working on it now and will let you know guys.

They told me it's in customs until it clears it's stuck. I believe that. It happens whenever you order from outside usa
