After installing 1080ti SC2, screen flashes black during bootup, PC sometimes crashes.

*After installing 1080ti SC2, screen flashes black during bootup, sometimes crashes after Windows loading screen.   
 
I installed my new Evga 1080ti SC2 last week, and 90% of the time my card is working fine (and great!).  But during my PC boot up my screen flashes black continuously, and about one 1 of every 7 bootups my PC will quickly show a pixelated bar across my screen, then my screen will stay black, never booting into Windows.    
 
I never had any of these problems with my Evga 1070 GTX, so I know it’s something to do with my 1080ti.  I have an 80+ rated 1000wa PSU, so I don’t think the card is being under powered either. 
 
 I have checked all connections and everything seems fine, is there something wrong with my card?

    Seems like you are suffering the Windows 10 fast boot problem. One of the latest Nvidia drivers has a fix for this, so if you haven't got the latest driver update it.
    If it still doesn't fix it, disable Win10 fast boot.

    Sounds exactly what I got going on, I will test that out tonight and report back.
