random time with little to no warning is the best option

I mean, yeah it would be ideal to be at the "right place, right time". I think that manufacturers will try to have enough stock on hand to be able to offset the scalpers and allow plenty of customers to buy cards. If people don't pay scalpers, they have to take the financial loss and sell at cost sometime. So, patience also factors into it.

When all this first happened I was happier they were random times, then I realized some people have way more time to refresh. Even if there is more competition for them, def prefer set times for drops.

I lean more towards knowing when to check. Otherwise, I don't bother because I rarely have the time at work.

Just have to wait till there's less demand for scalpers or we get incredibly lucky.
