After many, many weeks & months of challenges I have finally found the time to get back to building cases and parts with the laser! I don't think I fired it up for a few years now and had to replace some parts that were a bit worn out!

The case is a design I had been wanting to build for 10 years now/ I have already built it's Mini ITX version back in 2015. This case will be 18" wide x 20" tall x 22" deep.

It will house my current gaming PC....which is a few years old.... Here are some of the pictures on how far I got with it today and I did find some mistakes on my Sketchup designs that translated to the case.....oops! I am a bit rusty! But it's all fixable!

Case: 2020 T-Slot Extrusion, 1/4" & 1/8" Acrylic Clear and Black

And a reminder of what the Mini ITX Version looked like!!! More to come!!!!

The case is done! Wow, I was a bit rusty and made a few mistakes on the design....nothing major, just over looked some things that were easily corrected.

Anyone out there know where I can get the rear GPU/IO Backplane manufactured? I managed to make one out of acrylic, but prefer a metal one. I see Mountain Mods has these, but I would like to see about having them made in mass.

Here is where I am at with the build so far. Nothing fancy as far as water cooling, just a basic gaming build with my trusty EVGA AIO. Maybe perhaps later down the road I will upgrade, but for now this will have to do....specs will be coming soon! Thank you for looking!

Here are the final spec's and pictures. I could do a bit more with the wiring (which I will do later) I have several more cases to build!!!

This is my gaming PC and although it's a bit outdated with components I see no reason to upgrade yet until the next gen GPU's come out. Everything works great for my triple monitor set up on the three 1080p monitors I have.

    Gone Cruising....

     ....

It all looks great!  I went with a closed box this time around, but I still enjoy seeing everyone's systems.  I once had a 100% acrylic box in the mid 2000s.  Viva la old UV systems lol.  This pic left me wondering for a few seconds: WOW this case is HUGE being about 3 buckets tall!  Then I realized it is the camera angle I think the craftsmanship looks great, and I'm sure you are really proud of it.

So I am curious about a few things:
    1) Have you tested the front with and without your cover?  I'm curious if your air slits create extra noise or whistling.
    2) What is the performance of your Raid SSDs?

I haven't tested it our yet, but there is no noise from what I can hear so far. I haven't tested my Raid yet as I have been busy making other cases, GPU, SSD,HD covers and other things, sorry! I will get back to you though!

This is such an awesome build with lots of fans. Speaking of fans what are your idle and load temps for the CPU and GPU?

Thank you! I haven't had time to tinker with it yet, as it's still sitting in the shop. It's pretty cold in there and I can't get accurate temps just yet.....just too busy getting my business going again!

I wish you much success GoneCruisin, you deserve it. I hope you are able to enjoy building and getting things rolling again. Not hair pulling all the time. :)

Another great looking build. I like the different design cues you implemented. Looks like the eye in the sky somewhat, in one shot. Eye of Horus. The effects on the skull from the lighting is cool also. Going to assume :O you're making all the metal fab as well. Keep it up Bro, love your work.
