My payment was processing through Paypal and then everything just disappeared. Thanks for nothing, EVGA. Great work not putting a Captcha on your site to deter the bots that just bought all your cards. Absolutely ridiculous, but why would you care? You just got a ton of money.

I've been getting evga cards for the last decade. This was a terrible experience. I'll see what else I can get.

I doubt its bots, its a ton of people looking for the same. Either way it sucks. I watched each model become sold out one by one as the site wasnt responding to me. It was pretty painful tbh

Remember guys what you were told over and over and over by Manufactures and Retailers:
    Bots aren't real.
Stock numbers are fine... dont talk about low quantities.
    Scalpers aren't a problem.

Same story here. Was checking out and the site went down. Came back up and the card was gone. Knew it was going to be difficult to get one of these cards but I really do feel like EVGA let the legitimate customers down.

Yeah no, it's bots. Check out all the scalpers online.

I even got it in my cart multiple times but then got "object in cart doesn't match reference object" type messages when trying to check out.

I haven't been able to get the evga page to load at all.  I just keep trying now for the fun of it since I know the cards are gone.

How isn't there any Captcha in place to prevent this kind of thing?

Same. Had everything locked and loaded... was placing order and the page refreshed and said my cart is empty. This is quite the joke.

EVGA’s website and customer service when it comes to this launch are a complete and utter joke. I wasn’t even trying to buy a 3080 but I feel horrible for anyone trying to get one.

I’ll be buying a 3090 but at this point I don’t even feel like trying to get one on launch day. I’ll be better off waiting for all the scalping scum to go back into the sewers and buy one relatively stress free in 3-4 weeks when we actually get beyond this pathetic excuse for a launch.

Crashed as I was in the checkout.  And watch as they start showing up on Craigs and Ebay for over a grand.

It's like a DDOS attack, automated.  B&H is still down over an hour later, EVGA was down for like an hour.  It was really impressive to watch.

Completely unacceptable. Managed to get an order into the cart and then lost it by the time I had worked through the login page to checkout. Acted like it was still in the cart but forced quantity to zero.

Really, really frustrating to lose the ability to purchase just because EVGA's website crashed. You guys need to do better.

Disappointing. Got to final checkout page and the button was missing. Refreshed and it was out of stock.

The amount of traffic that peaked was enough to take out this site completely -- not even the homepage was loading.  There really should be a way to distribute day 1 purchases to confirmed customers to get these into the hands of gamers and not people looking to flip them on eBay.

So funny reading all these entitled complaints. Like seriously every site has problems I think except best buy. Quit being babies.

Nvidia's website didn't have problems because they never put the cards for sale. They had the 5head answer to the problem.

Complaining about bots and scalpers is now considered entitled? Dear lord, do forgive me for wanting to not have to spend $1200 on a $750 card from some third rate, shoddy reseller lurking in the bowels of ebay.
