Re: ASUS Intros B250 Mining Expert Motherboard with 19 PCIe Slots
This motherboard has been out for at least a couple months now (that's how long I've had MINE).
12 "standard" cards + 7 "mining-specific" cards seems to be the current limit under Windows - LINUX there is at least one person claiming to have gotten 21 cards running (2 via the NVME M.2 interface).
The only real good point to this board is the ON-BOARD management for 3 power supplies - otherwise it's just a "if you run many many cards, one fail = lose LOTS of hashrate" thing.
On the other hand, it's not all THAT expensive, and certainly viable to build a good 9-12 card rig with.
I am no longer the friendly FAH competition - thank Vorsholk and his ABUSE of his Curecoin developer position for that.
I no longer MOO due to abuses by certain "whales" in the Gridcoin community - so I now work the Distributed.net project directly again.
