About 1 year after the launch of Ryzen AMD has said that its near term goal is to try and match its marketshare when Athlon 64 was introduced. At that time AMD had about a 20 percent marketshare. They could easily do this if they can price competitively and offer great performance with 2nd gen RYZEN.
