It seems AMD is asking reviewers to prioritize reviews and testing of the Vega 56. This is probably due to pricing of the product.

None of those cards is going to be better than a 1080Ti, so I have no rush to see any of those reviews.

Depends on what you deem better to be. 1080Ti will remains the FPS leader but me thinks there is more to the story.... stay tuned

I definitely want to read/watch the reviews of Vega 64/56, just not excited like I was with i9 and TR.

I think a lot of us feel that way. I think the NAVI 7mm cards will be AMD exciting GPU.

But no matter what the 64 and 54 cards will play any of todays games well over 60fps+, a good thing too if you own a freesync monitor.

Not sure why anyone would be excited by i9.
Vega, on the other hand, seems to not be particularly competative - especially with the "MSRP shift" garbage that pushed it up to being significantly MORE expensive than the NVidia cards it competes against.

64 at $499 was a good deal, price competative with the GTX 1080 that it's performance is close to. At $599 it's WAY too expensive, getting too close to GTX 1080ti pricing.
56 at $399 was a GREAT deal, less expensive and slightly higher overall performance than the GTX 1070. At $499 it's in GTX 1080 range where it is not AT ALL competative.

AMD may have shot themselves in the foot BIG TIME with this stupid BS, especially coupled with the extreme SHORTAGE of the 64 at launch despite their announced "delay to make sure we have plenty on hand".

Good thing for them that Ryzen and the RX series are selling so well, Vega is going to COST them.

Now that vorsholk has stopped his abuse, I'm returning to folding.
I no longer MOO due to abuses by certain "whales" in the Gridcoin community - so I now work the Distributed.net project directly again.
