this gets asked like what ? every other week, from what I know its never going to happen. only reason evga made amd boards ways back was because they had Nvidia chipsets

I'm guessing Intel owns some of EVGA, or is corporate just a fanboy?

What mainly drove me here is that I've about had it with Gigabyte's Customer Support or lack thereof... I've had the b550 mess happening to me and it was bad. Basically I had to buy a second board because the first one got more and more problems over time and now even openly shorts exposing a light arc :)

Which Gigabyte board are you having issues with? My Vision B550 D-P has run like a dream so far.

I was considering posting a thread, myself, so that trend will probably continue... I'm likely going with an ASUS Crosshair for my new 5950X, but if EVGA had a single X570 board, I'd throw my money at it. I have a separate workstation at my office, so I don't need enterprise features. I just want high performance and stability, and I've been consistently impressed with the reliable overclocking strength of EVGA for the last couple generations. Now that AMD is on top, it makes sense that EVGA fans are wondering if we can expect a new motherboard.
 
I see some people saying "never," but why exactly? Is the AMD chipset too complicated for EVGA? Do they have an exclusivity deal with Nvidia / Intel to never produce for team red without their express authorization? Does a high level executive simply prefer Intel or had a nasty disagreement with AMD? Does the AMD PGA mount and backplate conflict too much with their motherboard production assembly? Are they looking to step out of the motherboard manufacturing sector to focus on GPUs and peripherals? What is the underlying reason? A few folks seem rather confident but I haven't seen an exact reason given. I wanna know what I'm missing here.

I'm running the Aorus Pro V2 and it's ok. The build quality is good but over all the experience could have been better. I'm going to sell this board once I go for the EVGA one.

EVGA don’t make any other mobos currently right?

They make a lot of Intel motherboards but not AMD.

I hope we hear about a release date soon as I need a motherboard and don't know how long I can wait...

Any guesses as to how much it will cost? Wonder if I'll be elite by the time it is released. If I am that should let me order it before non elite members?

The EVGA AMD Dark motherboard will be released when its ready. It has to meet the high standards of Kingpin. I will buy one when it ships.
