https://www.techpowerup.com/299148/amd-cuts-msrps-of-radeon-rx-6000-series-graphics-cards AMD has come up with new MSRPs for its Radeon RX 6000 series RDNA2 graphics cards, in a bid to better compete against NVIDIA's RTX 30-series high-end cards, as the product lifecycles of both companies draw to a close. The new price list was finalized on September 15, and is beginning to take effect in popular online retailers. The latest prices see the top Radeon RX 6950 XT at $949, and the RX 6900 XT $699. The latter offers better value, as it's within 5% of the RX 6950 XT, while being $250 cheaper. The RX 6800 XT drops to $599, which makes it $100 cheaper still than the RX 6900 XT, while being within 5% relative performance. If you can find an RX 6800 (non-XT), its MSRP is set at $549. MSRP cuts also take effect on performance-segment and mid-range SKUs. The RX 6750 XT is now a $419 SKU, and the RX 6700 XT is just $379. Both cards perform in the league of the RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3070, making them interesting SKUs to consider. The RX 6650 XT, which replaces the RX 6600 XT from the product stack, is priced at $299. If you can find an RX 6600 XT, it should start around the $239-mark. The entry-level RX 6500 XT and RX 6400 are finally under the $200-mark where they belong, with the RX 6500 XT going for $169, and the RX 6400 at $149. NVIDIA already debuted its RTX 40-series "Ada" graphics cards, but only at the very high-end, with the RTX 4090 expected to go on sale mid-October, at $1,600. AMD's next generation will be unveiled on November 3. Some very good pricing here. I am surprised it took this long for the price cuts.

no surprise here. their RX 6800 XT and the RX 6900XT have a nice price here for quite a while now.. but people where awaiting the miracle of the Nvidia 4000 gen. .. failed miracle that is! now many gamers will save 200 to 300euros and jump on the these AMD top tier cards for under 1000euros and less W consumption instead of going 3000gen. the RX6900XT is at a nice 856 euros here in Portugal( free shipping) whose performance goes around a 3080 Ti that still costs OVER 1100 EUROS. nvidia did this to herself... AMD is being smart! heck you can even get their top of the line MSI RADEON RX 6950XT for 960 euros here!! the minimal rtx 3090 is almost 1300 euros! .. so.. do the math... if i needed a GPU NOW... i would never go 3000gen.. no way! not with these delicious amd prices!

Good to see. If NVIDIA won't bring down its prices, there's plenty of room for AMD to move in and take over.
Have water, will cool.

I have a Asus Dual RX6600XT OC and its a BEAST. I play BF2042 at the high preset, 4K60FPS with almost no drops under 53FPS on full maps ( Freesync on). I had plan on doing 1440p but the monitor came damaged so I just used my 4K xbox monitor and kept that setup. All AMD cards seem to age very well and only get faster and faster with time. Same deal with my R9 290 cards 10 years ago, only got faster with updates. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCZ81UN8Z0U

update on this topic! the prices here in PORTUGAL have increased! so AMD is raising prices since the 4000gen launch failure a RX 6950 XT was 960euros about 2 weeks ago and now? the same gfx card is 1259 euros! 300 euros MORE in 2 weeks this just proves that intel needs to step up because AMD is $$ hungry like Nvidia and it wont be anyone's salvation.

That is very true and really since most AAA titles are PC ports anyway they just need fo have an affordable card that makes PC games run better at playing games made to run on AMD console GPU’s. If NVIDIA doesn’t offer a card below $1000 then AMD can and game developers are likely to focus on making games that run fine on $399 graphics cards that are affordable over expecting gamers to have a $3,000 system.

Amazon.de has this model for 999 Euros: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B09YHXFD19?m=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF&tag=idealode-am-pk-21&ascsubtag=2022-10-03_a0f09dcda518205ac860bb00a715e152a5023f5b01e9929a0850489b06410949&th=1 I believe they ship to Portugal.
and that was the price here until a few days ago! was under 1000€ problem with international shipping is custom taxes and warranties right now? here the prices went UP on that chip! amd is also milking up on the 6950 XT i say again... AMD will not be anyone's savior! they saw Nvidia screwed up and raises prices at least on this top tier gpu! haven't yet checked the 6800 XT or the 6900 XT

If you can wait for the next gen AMD GPUs you can see if prices fall at that time or if the new AMD GPUs are much more attractive to buy. Hopefully they can undercut NVIDIA on price.

yeah i am aiming for 2024 ( end of 2024) to give a LOT of time till this pandemic and mining madness truly to end. i am aiming for pcie-5 and ddr5 by then! 5000gen or rdna4 from amd! and hoping INTEL has more voice in pc GPU business

100% this. Nvidia is really behind the 8 ball and AMD is positioning themselves to pounce. I have a feeling that Nvidia over produced way more so than AMD, since Nvidia had no read of what the true demand was throughout 2021.. With AMD, you could occasionally come up on a card, so they probably had a better read on the forecast/demand. Either way, the pricing war over the next 4 months will be interesting.
