AHCI not working after BIOS update

Hey everyone.  My hardware was configured just fine for AHCI before I updated to the most recent bios for the X58 SLI.  The bios flash went fine with no apparent issues.
 
Right after the bios flash the POST stopped with a checksum error, but nothing other than that, and I thought I recalled that the last time I flashed anyway.  I continued.  However, when I setup the bios back to use AHCI for my sata drives, I would always get the error saying no system disc.  However, if I put it back into IDE mode, it sees the drive just fine.  Does anybody know what the problem could be?  This is a real nuisance.  Please help!  :(

    Is the drive order correct ? try to boot with just the os drive installed.
