I was wondering if anyone know if this is able to be fixed. What happened was I installed the graphics card on my computer and for some reason it wasn’t powering on, I tried different outlets and plugging/unplugging the PSU until the computer turned on. The GPU seemed to start up but then that MOSFET caught fire and I unplugged the computer as soon as I saw that. I attached pictures of the damaged area. Anyone know why this happened and can ir be repaired if I just replace that MOSFET ?

You do not have enough posts yet to show images so post the image URL without the http or https and put some empty spaces in the beginning of the web address.

I don't think that is repairable either.

Best you can hope for is that it might have warranty remaining..The suffix of the Part Number (P/N) is the warranty time.

that Card is dead ... might be able to "sell it for parts" --> if Warranty is expired

Several components are damaged & there is no way of determining is one of the PCB layers is also damaged

Thanks for the response everyone. :)
Unfortunately the card is out of warranty. I was hoping somehow it could be repaired or the MOSFET replaced. I found the MOSFET I need online but I have to check how mucha damage was done to the card.

Can you share shop or some electric scheme if is available? I have same problem but less damage. I hope it is possible to repair but can not find spare part on ebay or anywhere else.

    Here is an option:

A very common failure, by the way.  When I say "common failure", I don't mean that a majority fail.  I mean that many which have failed have the same thing fail.
