snip " the dual 85mm fans will stay off until it reaches about 60°C. The card also features a dual BIOS switch, allowing users to switch between the dBi BIOS (semi-passive) and the secondary BIOS, which has an alternative, more aggressive fan curve that's always on. '' snip

Read that, but when i downloaded both bios from the card all the setting including the fan were the same. I am going to mod one and flash it to bios 2 so the fans are always on. Its actually pretty easy to do and if i want the stock setting ill just fip it back to one.

Sounds like your card is missing the slave vbios. You can download the slave here.

It was a rx card so evga might have flashed both to the same.

thats actually the wrong one, i have the 2.0+ and the bios has a 72 at the end. they have it. the difference it seems is the power limit, adjustment max is +10% for with a 222w board power limit and the 2.0 is +15% with a 232w limit

success, fans now turn on at 25c and start at 25%, which since my card idles around 28~30c the fan stays at 30% and goes up from there until 100% at 72c. left the clocks as they were and OC via precision but now i dont have to rely on precision to keep my card cool. it's actually super easy to do, way better than the old days with nibitor.

Actually the one I linked is the correct one as its subsystem id is... 3842 3975. Both the ACX 2.0+ ones are the master vbios and not the slave.
