Hi, 
Just got a 850w g3 from ebay seller newegg and after reading the manual/website it says that it should have included 2 single pcie cables but I only got one. I don't need it now but just wondering if this is normal, it did come with 2 double pcie cables and 1 single pcie cable. I don't really want to wait for shipping the unit back and waiting for another one in hopes it has everything.

    Looks like you were shorted one of the singles. Mine came with 2 of each, single and double connectors. You could contact them {newegg/ebay}, but they may have sold you an open box PSU. Wonder if they could just ship you the missing cable?
    Not that it solves the shortage, but EVGA offers some very nice individually sleeved sets and wire combs, that makes for a great looking set-up. Look under compatibility if interested.: https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=220-G3-0850-X1

    Thanks for the welcome and comment. I don't think it was an open box because there was a stick that I had to cut to open it up. I don't really need the extra single but just I've been running into very bad luck receiving defective hardware lately. 
     
    Those cable sets are nice, but a little too expensive for my setup.

    ya I am hoping that the online retailer will send me one rather than having to refund and rebuy. Not that I need that many pcie cables now, just feel kinda down lately getting crappy stuff that could very much be refurbished and sent out as new.
