Hey guys...is the top panel riveted on, or can it be easily removed for powder coating.  Just curious, couldnt quite make it out in the pics.  For the matter, how difficult would dissassembly be in general for anyone who has done it?

You need to drill out the rivets and they easy :)... I did it for the HAF 932. Just take some pictures so you will know how to put it back it. Rivet tool is easy to use too

Thanks hale88.  Im mulling over replacing my current case with a CM 690 II advanced, or this one.  I dont know why i want to swap cases, I just do :)  If i go the corsair route, im gonna pain the outside red, inside blue, and have a red/blue fan mix.  The only thing stopping me on this one really is the greater amount of money for the case and the powder coat.  I wish i could have gotten it when it was on sale not too long ago for $225.

You'll know it when it's time to swap the case. My 2 old cases Thermaltake Armor and CM Centurion 5 are dated so it's time for me to swap them with the Corsair 800D and the CM 690 II Advance. It just comes down to what you need since those 2 cases are not even in the same class. The Corsair 800D is designed with water cooling in mind and fit a triple rad on top with a double rad at the bottom and much larger than the CM 690 II Advanced. But for budget the CM 690 II Advanced is one of the best since you can do 2 double rad on top and bottom. I would say go with the Corsair 800D to make it worth the upgrade, I got mine on sale at Micro Center for $220 last month. :)

@Hale88. Is your pump pushing water up from the bottom? I was thinking about that too, but I wasn't sure about the head pressure. I plan on getting an 800D too with 3 Hydro Copper 485's and 980X in a single loop with 1x120 rad and a 3x120 rad. Should that work?

EDIT: Oh, I also plan on using dual Liang DDC's with a dual pump/combiner top thingy.

@Phoenixx45: thanks :)

@Osiris454: Yep it pushes the water up to GPU and then go through CPU then to Rad. and back to Res. I think one pump is strong enough because my pump is running crazy...It pulls lots of water that create some kind of boiling water with lots of bubbles...lol

here is bigger picture, as you can see that more than half of the Res is full of boiling bubble except on the bottom it

^ Thanks.

I was hoping that would work. Trying to run tubing top-down would have really been a pain.
I love the blue motif. Very subtle.

This is honestly one of the very few builds I have seen where the sleeved cables like you have look goo in the entire mix. i like the fact you don't have them all tight and pulled down. makes the overall build look nice and clean. I need to take some night shots of my build.

Thanks
