Hey there guys, After I installed the May 2019 version of Windows 10, some of my games starting giving me "update your drivers" error. After I finally updated using Nvidia's GeForce experience, the windows crashed. As, It went into automatic repair every time, and no recovery methods successfully worked; I had to remove the card and reset the windows to get it back to working (somehow even after reset it was stuck on the repair process, no idea how that can happen). As of now, I have hard deleted everything related to Nvidia and reset anything that might be related to display drivers. Now the problem is that when I install the graphic card either of the two thing happen: -Mostly, windows just gets stuck on the bootscreen, prompting automatic repairs until the card is removed. -It does launch and crashes within 20 seconds. I tried uninstalling any drivers related to display or that graphic card but nothing helps. I suppose it has something to do with the drivers, but hey, any help would be appreciated! Configuration: GPU: EVGA 780ti SC Processor: i7 4770K RAM: Gskill TridentX 16GB 1866Mhz C-9 Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Formula Storage: 2xSSD, 1xSSHD PSU: AX760

I have a suggestion but you probably won't like it. If you have backups of your data then a fresh install of Windows might fix this.

Hi, I'm having similar issues. My 780 Ti started to crash in game. Then it started to crash to BSOD with various errors from Watchdog to critical process died. Had to reinstall windows but everytime I try to install a version of NVIDIA driver, the GPU would crash again. Then would constantly crash at startup BIOS phase and go into automatic repairs. Were you able to solve this problem?

Sorry for the delay, had to release your post from filter Confirm you downloaded the Correct driver for your OS type --> Including 32 or 64 bit Version Nvidia Drivers download Try installing an Older Nvidia driver Remove All OC on your PC until it is resolved Confirm all connections to your PSU & GPU is still properly seated & locked in MB PCIe slot

I have tried all the above. Current state, I used DDU to uninstall the NVIDIA drive and that's the only time that the 780ti could start into windows. If I try to install any version of NVIDIA driver, the computer would crash with black screen with artifacts, reboot and crash at the BIOS screen with artifacts.

Generally speaking, if the base Microsoft WDM low resolution driver works and the GPU fails when trying to install the 3D accelerated (Nvidia) driver the GPU has failed. However, before proceeding, have you powered off the system and done a basic house cleaning and reseating of the GPU and power cables to the GPU and motherboard? I start there first before assuming any failures.

I have done all the reseating, even replace the PSU but the results are the same.

Give that guide a shot So, Under Win 10 drivers - [before loading Nvidia update] the card & Windows is Happy ? What doe you see in device manager - before loading Nvidia update ? What driver is working ?
I use DDU to uninstall the NVIDIA driver under safe mode. Then I put in the 780ti and boot up the computer. This is the only way for the computer to not crash with the GPU in. Under device manager, it is currently recognize as Microsoft basic display adapter. If I try to install any version of the NIVIDIA driver, the computer would crash and not be able to boot into windows at all. Just crash during the BIOS screen with artifacts.

im having the SAME issue but with my nvidia 780 sc acx .. i had to re-install windows 2 times. i tried windows 7. and windows 10(upgrade from windows 7). same issue. and bsod. happened. (i had to revert to using old amd 7470 1gb card) :(. i have now re-installed windows new fresh install(no upgrade),and still get my "code 43" error in device drivers. gpu-z sees the card, but shows no info on the core and memory... i even replaced my psu,.. i even tried several older drivers and same issue..

I have petty much the same issue as you after my 780ti is finally stable enough to boot into windows. Just code 43 error after I try to install the driver. gpu-z also shows no info on the core and memory. I eventually had to replace the GPU and everything works fine. I have tried the 780ti on my older computer and it worked for a bit but eventually started crashing as well. So I have concluded that it's my old 780Ti's problem. But I have yet to figure out what the problem is. Or is it fixable or not. Some say it's simply the GPU dying. I hope that's not the case.

In my country is big demand for GTX780Ti, GTX1080, GTX1080Ti graphic cards. People who can't afford more then 100$ search for GTX780Ti graphic cards because they still have power for 1080p. I will stay some time on GTX1080Ti because I can't afford new monitor.
