Dale Earnhardt Jr. is retiring from the sport due to past concussions. His father was a great champion and so is he.

    His father is a legend, Jr never won a championship in the Sprint Cup.

    I agree.  Sucks that his dad died, since then I havent watched NASCAR the same way again, jr didn't seem to have the motivation he had anymore since his dad passed, he still does decent though =(

    Yeah...but he's retiring after this season

     I watched his Dad for a very long time the Old Ironhead "Intimidator" was the man. When he died I switched to his son. With his impending retirement and the new rules I'll probably just let nascar fade away, Daytona and Talladega be the exceptions

    i still go to a few races a year but since the changes that nascar put in its more like watching the old IROC series, bring back the rubbin is racin days, loved to watch dale tear through traffic and not care who's feeling he hurt.
