This one is troubling me. Was gaming fine last night and today I am getting 1 or 2 fps. While troubleshooting I had noticed my gpu clocks are all ridiculously low even while gaming. They do not move. It is not overheating temp shows 35c.
GPU core clock is showing 50.6 mhz
Memory clock 67.5 mhz
Shader 101.0 mhz
Fan 30% 1260 rpm
Memory load 293MB (this is the only number that is actively changing)

Two monitor setup. Most critical parts are no more than 6 months old. Any ideas on what is going on? Any and all help appreciated.

    Try this...

Open the nvidia control panel, select manage 3d settings, under global settings change power management mode to prefer maximum performance, reboot pc. How do the clocks look now when you run the render test in gpu-z?

That is a strange issue. Are you able to test the card in another system?

If not, try downloading DDU HERE to clean out the drivers and reinstall the latest drivers HERE when it is finished.

If you have a moment, please rate my service. We appreciate the feedback!

Clock speeds are running the same on an older PC. Guessing something is faulty in the card.

Time for a new card, or time to rma if you have lifetime warranty on the card.

Hello , My Son's PC had / has the same issue i found that any driver above 378 will cause this to happen about an hour after running. running windows 10 64 it with GTX560 . I removed all drivers and cleaned the registry and then set windows not to allow for vendor driver update ref   So may be a driver issue .

I will look into that a bit more, but the night it was working then the next day without any updates it was not. I was using an older driver. A newer driver was causing some issues with one of the games I was playing and had to remove it. Will try again later today and post the results.  Thanks for the tip though.

Unfortunately that did not help in my case.

This so weird, that clocks stucks on low level, maybe you can try some luck by using MSI AFTERBURNER, and adding a little be voltage to see if it changes
Also i would try to, use NVIDIA INSPECTOR, and set in global, power management to prefer maximum performance
Same in NVIDIA CONTROl PANEL, also by created a custom profile, by adding DW.EXE and explorer.exe, to prefer maximum performance energy

Next/step this is unnecesary but, try to changes in windows battery plan to high performance, and lastly but not least in bios, sometimes even by using a dedicated graphic card, i remember, that if i set my bios slot PCIE, to PCI it will generated DPC latency, so you can try changing from pcie to pci "to see if something happens" this is dumb, but you can try

    Sorry for my English.
