You also need to unlock your wallet if it's encrypted. And you must use their latest wallets.

haha tell me about it.  I doubled my points and got less coins.  Doesn't help we had so many "whales" join in.  Hopefully they all leave soon :P

i can not compare to last month as i was one of the lucky ones who earned a lot more than they should when they screwed up the distro. BUT, if you look at the month before last i am down 27% FLDC earned and up 70% in PPM (point per month).

this go round though i am going to wait for FLDC to hit 1000 again before i spend. i am also hording all of my CURE waiting for it to make a killing and be worth more than 10x what it is now.

Yeah I want to know how to stake cure.  I know your coin needs to be 30 days old, yada yada..but that's about it.  They don't exactly make it crystal clear on their page.

Yeah, I wrote some of the page on Curecoin.io, but I still don't completely understand how our implementation of PoS works. I have been trying to get clarification on it.

Youngblood was it difficult to get your name changed to your folding coin name?  I am looking at doing it because fldc is just so profitable and missing days costs a lot of money.  I have tried finding posts and well there are none ha.  Sorry for breaking the chain, but it's would make it easier instead of having to switch names and switch teams if I could just switch teams when I would like to fold for EVGA.  Cause I know I can earn folding coin no matter what team I am on, right?, it's just earning cure that I need to be folding on the cure team.  And cure right now, well I only get a mere 18 a day...

You have to create a new folding name. There is no way to transfer your points.

I am just looking at the EVGA bucks is all.  As I am sure there are others here interested.  So I guess nuke my old EVGA folding name, use my bucks before I nuke it obviously!! and start a new one under my current folding name?  I am sorry for asking so many questions, just trying to wrap my head around it as everything is hush hush haha.

Well, with last FLDC payout primarily reinvested into CURE i am nearly in the top 50 stateholders for Curecoin. CURE will always be my long term investment.

So you're minting with Cure?  Who "profitable" is it?  Been wondering if it is better to do that as I am not sure if I can actually keep up with the expenses of buying new cards.  I sadly only have about 500 or so Cure ATM and I would need to wait 30 days for them to mature to stake as I moved them so I could mint them all at once, as 20 or so coins a day maturing just wouldn't get me a thing.

Not quite that bad - perhaps by the end of NEXT week.

 9-)

Seriously though, it might take 10M PPD to be a Top 20 by the end of the month, we've had some newbies with lots of cards join in this past month.

For me, the last 2 weeks was about sorting out some issues with my Internet, getting infrastructure in place, and then getting new hardware built up.
Almost there, but now I want to start working on my "rationalization" plan....

Then just to complicate things, I managed to sneak in a 1-card order on one of the new Sapphire "mining" cards - but that's part of the "rationalization" plan, that card will likely be joining my MooWrapper farm.

Now that vorsholk has stopped his abuse, I'm returning to folding.
I no longer MOO due to abuses by certain "whales" in the Gridcoin community - so I now work the Distributed.net project directly again.

wow, the markets are experiencing a hard pullback right now pushing the total crypto market cap down from ~$90 Billion to ~$80 Billion! https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/

prices of FLDC and GRC are both down by over 25% with CURE just under a 20% loss today. its hard to tell if this is just market correction or if we are now entering a bearish market. though i do doubt this is simply profit grabbing as prices have been slowly falling for a while now.

i kinda hope this latest wave of uncertainty makes more people rethink adding more GPU's to their farms so supplies can finally reach a stability point again.

It looks like some(1.2 million) ETH wallets were hacked.

My guess is either those people are trying to dump while they have it, or who ever stole it is emptying their wallets... and bringing the whole market down with them.

I bet it will go back up, but it will take a few weeks before it rebounds back to $.25/FLDC or CURE

i was going to mention this earlier when the first buy happened but i thought it may have simply been a buy to pull the market back to its previous value a few days ago and stop. but CURE is now on FIRE!

Bitcoin has been sliding for a couple weeks now, seems to be driven by FUD about the "BIP148" and SegWit2x fork.
It's been dragging almost everything else down with it - pretty much ALL altcoins have dropped 50% or MORE from their highs 2-3 weeks back, with Litecoin being a NOTEABLE exception having dropped only about 20% (less of a drop than Bitcoin has had in the same timeframe).

CURE on the other hand had a MAJOR jump in the last day - still not up to it's all-time high on a $ basis but back close to the 10k satoshi range it was in just before Poloniex delisted it for no reason.
Optimally FLDC will also see some love in the next day or two.

lets hope it picks up.  Still trying to get my FLDC back out from a messed up transfer I did on my payout for June.  It sucks because my totals were around $950 for the three weeks I was folding that month.  Now its about half that.

For any one reading this and is new please know that Counter Wallet is not asking for a literal BTC address when transferring your FLDC out.  Send the FLDC to an FLDC address.    Don't make the mistake I did an tie up %75 of your earnings during a boom by sending it to a wrong wallet type.  lol  I was just lucky to break even with Cure Coin for power consumption.

Up side - markets seem to be flattening out or even recovering a hair the last couple days.
Still a long way off from the peaks though.

I gave up on that Counterparty ripoff after someone mentioned mining direct to an exchange, and I finally figured out what I'd been doing wrong back when I FIRST tried to set that up.
IMO ignore Counterparty, they make you pay an arm and a leg for excessively poor performance and a wallet that is a pain to use at BEST.

I totally fail to understand why FLDC recommends the use of that Counterparty GARBAGE.

To my knowledge it is the only other wallet besides an exchange wallet that accepts FLDC. if that is not the case i would love to know of another personal wallet to store FLDC long term, as exchanges are not trustworthy for more than a month imho.

I would like to know the same.  It would be nice to just have an offline wallet to store and only update it for payout days.
