550w G3 question

Hello,
 
 
At the moment I'm running a 750 P2 in my main rig and I'm looking for a new psu for my server.
The 550w G3 caught my eye but then I saw it only has 6xsata. That would suffice for now but I might add more hdd in the future.
Could I use a sata cable from my P2 connected to the perif on a G3?
