Skyrim and fallout with tons of mods. Would it be possible to get 4k 60 with a single 1080ti

    Yes. I still play Skyrim and I've never seen it fall below 60FPS. I've never seen it go above 60 either since it has a hard cap (which you can remove with some tweaking) but I don't use many mods.

    yeah, running SLI right now. Most games I lock at 60 as I'm gaming at 4k 60p

    Oh I don't put a cap on it. The Skyrim itself has a cap since physics use the framerate and if it goes above 60 then weird things will happen. It's possible to get around the cap and fix the issues (mostly) but it will break on one or two quests if they haven't been completed beforehand.
     
    With most games I use the "fast" V-Sync option which has only recently been enabled on SLI setups.

    Sorry for the late reply but my cpu as of now is the 1600x 8gb of ram b350 strix and msi 1080
