Purchased the card new last week and love it although one of the fans makes a ticking/pulsating noise when it’s at very low rpm. It’s like a faint tick tick noise and I have noticed it’s been reported by other people that have the same card. There is no cables rubbing the fan and from what I read a firmware fix is required by EVGA. Does anyone else have this issue and have they managed to fix it?

I've noticed this happens not just with GPU fans but also case fans. If you have your PWM fans set to automatically rev up and down in accordance to system temperature, sometimes the RPM drops slightly below the minimum RPM operating level and the fan cuts out temporarily then revs back up again. This is what causes the weird noises. To prevent this, just set your fan speeds manually with EVGA's Precision software.
