FYI, the EK-Quantum Vector² block for the EVGA 3090Ti FTW3 Ultra was due mid July. There's been a delay, but only by a couple of weeks (at this point). Here's the email I got: Dear EK customer, Thank you for choosing the EK-Quantum Vector² FTW3 3090 Ti product(-s) as a part of your order. Due to forces outside of our control, we are experiencing an additional delay caused by an interruption of our supply. We are working hard to minimize the effects of this interruption and deliver your order as soon as possible. The new expected stock date for your EK-Quantum Vector² FTW3 3090 Ti product(-s) is by the end of July. However, please note that the product(-s) can still be restocked sooner for your order. Once the product(-s) become available and your order is shipped, you will be notified about it by an automatically generated confirmation e-mail with a tracking number. Thank you! However, please keep in mind that if your order contains another item that was out of stock at the moment you placed the order and hasn’t been restocked in the meantime, the shipping will depend on the other product’s restocking date as well. Yeah, I checked that this morning. Their website now indicates middle of August delivery date with DHL Express.

I hope so too, for your sake and others. The middle of August delivery date is so close to the release of the 4K series card.

Would be faster to get this one. I've seen a couple of people with those for other brands. Bykski seems to be pretty good but total lack of instructions.

I'm curious why they bothered making a backplate cooling loop for the 3090Ti. it makes sense for the 3090, since it has 12x modules on the back of the PCB. but the 3090Ti has them all on the front side.

The ABP should save a few degrees regardless, but not very much.
Would be interested in seeing its exact impact versus a passive backplate.

I was going to go for the front block only and a nickel backplate, but considering how much the GPU cost, I decided to spend a little extra on the full set. There's still a lot of heat coming off the back side of many cards, not just the 3090 - try touching a metal backplate after a good stretch of gaming or some heavy rendering. They get hot. An active backplate will certainly help cool the card overall. Absolutely necessary? No. Nice to have? Yes.

active backplate for me is a no thanks on a card that doesn't need it. after messing with the 3090s even on a bench they're just too big and heavy for it to be worth without backside mem
looks like a great card tho, i wonder if we can machine it out to fit the kpe mounting hole pattern lol

I got the front side only because I have a MP5 works BPC , I was going to use it, Even though everything is on the front side , the TI has a heat pipe and pads on the backplate because it does do some cooling also
